I Love Red Bob!
Finding Red Bob was one of the best things I have ever had happen to me in regards to food. My family as a whole has been trying to eat healthier and Red Bob has a mind boggling number of tasty offerings that will ultimately improve your diet. I am fairly new to Red Bob so I am really still in the experimental phase. They have so many offerings that its going to take some time to try them all out. I ordered the Muesli as I am constantly on the look out for new things I can eat with my yogurt. I started making fresh yogurt last year and to say its one of my favorite foods is an understatement. So again, I am constantly looking for new and healthy ways of spicing my yogurt up and improving on its nutritional contents. Well, to make a long story short, this was easily one of the best mixes I have had yet with my yogurt. One of my favorite aspects to this mix is its much softer than granola, which is what I usually eat with my yogurt. I usually have to wait a few minutes for granola to soften up a bit but that isn't necessary with this mix. It has a great texture right out of the package and it ultimately gives it a fresher quality. As for the taste, its absolutely spot on. The raisins and dates add a perfect amount of sweetness and the flavor of the walnuts, almonds and sunflower seeds really shine through. Of course, with Flax Seed and 100% whole grain oats it quickly becomes apparent how healthy this mix is for you. All in all its easily one of the best muesli mixes I have ever had and I have tried quite a few. Its important to note that I actually add Manuka Honey when I eat it with yogurt but that is only to help sweeten up the yogurt itself. Again the dates and raisins add a perfect amount of sweetness if your eating the mix by itself, which I have done now on multiple occasions and its just as good on its own as it is in yogurt.I also have to mention what Red Bob did with his company recently. After receiving a massive amount of buy out offers over the years, many from the monster sized agri-food corporations, Red Bob finally decided what he was going to do with his company and he made his announcement at his 81st birthday party earlier this year. He turned down all of the offers (most of which had to be for HUGE amounts of money as a 2004 estimate put the companies yearly revenue at roughly 24 million dollars and the company is estimated to have seen 20-30 percent growth each year since then) and decided to simply give the company to his employees. Yes, that's right, he gave it to his 209 employees. I cant even begin to tell you how much respect I have in Red Bob for making this move and ultimately it just makes me want to support his company just that much more. He basically gave away hundreds of millions of dollars so his employees could own the company he started. That's just a level of class that you dont see very often in modern society. I became a customer for life when I read that story. Red Bob is just an amazing guy. Oh, and by the way, happy 81st Bob!Bottom line - Again finding Red Bob was easily one of the best things that has ever happened to me in regards to food. Now that I have found Red Bob....well, lets just say I couldn't imagine my cupboards, or my diet for that matter, without him. I have only tried roughly 10-12 items from Red Bob's catalog but out of those items this Muesli Mix is definitely in my top 3. Its great by itself, both hot and cold, and its ever better on yogurt. If you haven't tried Red Bob then this would be a perfect place to start.5 Stars!

More filling if it's soaked overnight
I eat this for breakfast everyday. Initially, I thought it seemed pretty bland, especially since I was used to the usual overly sugary cereals a lot of us grew up with. I tried preparing it in various ways, using the suggestions on the bag as a guide. I thought microwaving it would maybe give it the consistency of oatmeal, but it was much more runny and not gooey. Soaking the suggested serving size of 1/4 cup for 5-10 minutes did soften it, but it didn't seem very filling at all, and things were still quite chewy. Soaking it in fruit juice was very flavorful, but I think it may have been too much sugar as it would have me burping for quite a while. I've found that I like it best soaked overnight, for both taste and digestion: still just 1/4 cup of muesli, but with a 1/2 cup of soymilk or almond milk, 1 teaspoon of chia seeds, 1/2-1 teaspoon of ceylon cinnamon, and a teaspoon of ground flaxseeds, if I have some. The chia seeds kind of give it a more creamy texture, and the cinnamon gives it more sweetness without adding extra sugar (Extra tidbit of info: Cinnamon has a lot of health benefits, but only if you get the Ceylon variety. Most of what is sold is of the Cassia variety, which is cheaper and similar in taste, but contains higher levels of Courmarin, which can be harmful as it can cause liver toxicity and has blood-thinning properties.) Soaking it all overnight really plumps everything up and actually makes that tiny 1/4 cup of muesli pretty filling, at least more so than it would be if it were soaked for just 5-10 minutes. Overall, I really like this stuff. It seems to have helped my overall digestion. It is good on its own with just whatever liquid you like, but it is a bit of an adjustment if you're used to mass produced processed cereals like I was, so it may take a few tries before you find out what works best with your taste.

Bob's Red Mill Muesli
We use one package every three and a half months. Mainly, we use it for breakfast with either milk or yogurt. The muesli is not overly sweet, they don't add sugar to the mix. I have even roasted it on a pan in the oven and used it in various recipes. The cost for the 24 ounce bag is much more cost effective than buying the 8 or 12 oz packages at the grocery store. For our family, this has become a staple and has been for many years. For storage, we place one package in a large sealed jar and keep it on the counter.I buy the four pack so that we have it available for a few months.

Excellent "standard" muesli
This product does not try to be fancy -- no extra nuts, nibs, berries, or flavors. in that way, it is a "standard" muesli. But, it is one of the best tasting mueslis I have tried. It consistently has a good flavor -- not too sweet nor too plain. I sometimes eat it with milk in a bowl, but I usually add it to defrosted blueberries and a mound of yogurt. It works well either way. (I only wish they offered it in cardboard cartons -- similar to cylinders of oatmeal -- or that the packaging were compostable.)

good and crunchy
I love this cereal. I'm using it mixed with yogurt to wean myself off my ice cream. My local store just quit carrying it so I bought a box of it cheaper than the store was charging. I really like the fact it's all natural, no sugars or corn syrup added. It's just flattened grains and dried raisins and dates and shaved almonds and sunflower seeds.

Tastes Great - Healthy - Pack With You On Bike Rides For Instant Energy - Raisons
As a snack sometimes I will eat it like a horse feed bucket out of the large size bag - other times when watching a movie I will pick out individual nuts and chew them for their individual taste - it's like a smart popcorn with far more dimensionsIt really is good hot or cold.I tried it in yogurt & just can't get used to granola type stuff in it - supposed to like it in Scandinavia (Smaklig måltid) and here alsoI would take this muesli over any oatmeal any day and I will eat it at any time of day.
