JQUEEN Six Automatic Watch Winder with 7 Extra Storages Spaces, Quiet Mabuchi Motors

First off, I have mid-ranged automatic watches. Seiko, Orient, and Hamilton. I know that automatic watches need to be kept wound and running in order to have them last. I'd been looking at watch winders for quite a while, and did not want to spend several hundred dollars for one. The JQUEEN models seem to have more good reviews than bad, but time while tell. One of the things that several reviewers mentioned, was the fact that these winders would constantly keep your watches fully wound, even on the nine hour break setting. I took their advice and bought a $10 digital timer, and set it to run for six hours. This seems to work very good. I originally had it set for four hours, but they stopped working. This has the watches winding down for eighteen hours, which I think allows a good balance. As far as sound, unless I lift the top up and put my ear up to the case while it's running I don't hear anything. The case is very well built, and even though it has a gloss finish, it's not that super high gloss that a lot of cheap products have.Now, for the reasons for the four stars.1 I haven't had it long enough to attest for it's longevity ( about 2 weeks at this point )2 My wrist measures about 7 1/2" in circumference. The metal bracelet watches are to big, even with the outer ring on the pillows. So every time the watches would rotate, the watch would "flop" from side to side. This will shock the motors and gearbox, and will kill them in short order. I have taken rubber bands and wrapped them around the pillow holders. This not only builds up the size, but also helps to grip the watch, and stops it from "flopping" side to side. This is my only real problem with the winder. Hey JQUEEN, please offer some thicker outer rings for the holders please.

This JQUEEN is the same rebranded junk from China you buy on eBay for much less. It replaced an Xelterra (sp)? Brand that lasted a few months before getting loud, loose and eventually fkat out dying. The units are identical other than the JQUEEN sticker on the back. The key from my old replacement even worked in this winder. Don't buy this. It's a total waste of money!Update: 1 month later, the far right winder has already quit working.

I ordered these watch winders as replacement for the (almost identical) Diplomat winders that have been with me for over five years and had half of the turntables out of service, and I was happy to see some singifiative improvements in these units:- The inner color being clear cream-white instead of black makes my time pieces highlight.- The turntables are in a more tilted position, so even bulky watches don't touch and scratch the acrylic window. This happened with my old winders and caused friction that definitely contributed to the turntables' mechanism failing.- Each of the 3 turntables in the winders has its own control knob. The old winders had ontly two knobs, one controlling 2 turntables and the other one 1 turntable. This gives more operating flexibility.- The holders in the turntable (each turntable has 2 holders) are a bit more separated, so the watches don't touch each other when winding. This is a problem I had with the old winder, and caused scrateches in a couple of my watches.- And most important... The motors in my old winders had a belt drive that came with a cheap flat rubber belt. The first time the turntables failed, I found a blog post advising to replace the flat belts with o-rings. When I opened the motors to change the belt, I found a couple of broken belts and lots of rubber dust inside the motor gear case. Cleaning the rubber dust and replacing the flat belts with o-rings brought the units back to work and gave me a couple of additional years of service (until now).So when I received my new winders, the first thing I decided to do is to replace the belts with o-rings to play it safe from the beginning. But when I opened the first motor... SURPRISE! NO BELT! The new motor gears have no belt, everything is driven by plastic gear discs. THIS IS A MAJOR IMPROVEMENT, using Japanese motors instead of Chinese. Big difference!So I put my new winders into operation inmediately, and are operating flawlessly and quietly.I am so happy I decided to purchase these units to replace my old winders, and at a lower price!

This is the third JQueen watch winder that I have purchased on Amazon. Obviously, I would not have bought two more if I didn't like them. They arrive extremely well packed and no damage. Set up is very easy. These motors are extremely quiet compared to others I purchased on ebay (not JQueen) and have thrown away due to poor quality and quick working. I had one minor problem with a hinge on the first one and the customer service was excellent.. As with all 3, the pockets for the watches are too shallow for large men's watches. No problem for my wife's watches. My wife remedied the problem by making larger pillows to hold my watches in place, but I do wish they would make these to accommodate the 50mm men's automatic watches with large bracelets. All in all, very nice watch winder for the money and I would recommend them. Yes, you can probably find higher quality, but spend 10 times as much, if not more.

The winder is very well made with a nice, high gloss, exterior finish and attractive interior. The winders are barely audible when the top is open and almost imperceptible when it is closed. My larger 45mm+ watches fit fine on the rotors. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the pillows are not really adjustable so a couple of my watches with slightly bigger bands would flop around a little. I put a little extra padding in to solve this problem which was easy enough but it would be nice if the holders expanded a little.

Bummmmmm ........ das ist ein Kasten.......! Supertolle Optik unter Licht kommt die Maserung und Farbe so richtig zum leuchten! Total präziese verarbeitet. Die Motoren sind einzel steuerbar und laufen nach dem ersten Test sogut wie lautlos. Ob das auch in Zukunft so bleibt wird sich zeigen. Zurzeit absolute Kaufempfehlung....... bei dem Preis! ....... übrigens....... auch der übliche Kunststoffgeruch ist minimal und wird durch ein Säckchen Gewürznelken, Lavendelblüten, oder dergleichen neutralisiert.

Voici un remontoir de montres qui présente bien. Chaque platine peut accueillir deux montres de bonne taille et faire l'objet d'un réglade de rotation spécifique à choisir parmi quatre.Les petits moins sont les suivants :le nettoyage du coffret et de la vitre est un peu difficile à réaliser. Il a nécessité pour notre part de recourir à un chiffon microfibres pour venir à bout des traces laissées par les films de protection.les moteurs ne sont pas parfaitement silencieux. On les entend nettement tourner même si l'intensité du son est très modérée alors que sur de nombreux autres modèles ils sont absolument silekcieux.les supports détachables sur lesquels on attache les montres sont en matériau dur, de qualité très moyenne et assez épais rendant la fixation des bracelets peu aisée. Il existe de nombreux modèles de remontoirs où les supports sont en mousse joliment habillée ce qui est considérablement plus pratique et esthétique.Bref, au total, le remontoir fonctionne et prévaut pour son look. Il est à ranger dans la catégorie des bons produits moyen de gamme.

4/5 stars after owning the JQueen 6-Watch Winder for one week. It arrived promptly and fairly well packaged, but I expected to see more padding. Fortunately it arrived in perfect condition.First impression: the winder looks super, with a deep gloss finish, precise joinery and well-fitted interior padding. It makes a great display.Second impression: it has been shipped without an adapter or plug for Australia - it cannot be used without either an unwieldy plug or a replacement power supply. This is not mentioned anywhere in the product description. Annoying, but it was easy enough to source an alternative power unit. Additional expense and some time lost, but not a deal breaker. Anyone without easy access to electronics shops is going to be in trouble though.The controls are simple and switches seem robust. There is plenty of room in the front of the unit to store watches, spare straps and cleaning cloths. All good.In use, however, the JQueen winder has a problem. The padded "holders" which support your watch (and slot into the winders) are quite small. My watches are mainly on metal bracelets, not buckled straps. I cannot get them to fit snugly. They flop about on the winder as it rotates, jarring both the watch and the winder. The solution is reasonably simple - fatten the watch holders slightly. I have used strips of neoprene from a mouse-mat, but I think I will swap them for strips of velour to improve the look. It is a tiny bit fiddly, but not too bad.The good news is that the winder works - my automatic watches are running perfectly, As advertised, the JQueen winder is whisper quiet, and it is an eye-catching, interesting display.Do I recommend the JQueen winder? Absolutely, provided purchasers are aware of potential power-supply issues and are satisfied to find their own way of making sure their watches sit securely. It is a good unit.Update - November 2019: the JQueen winder continues to work perfectly. So much so that I expect to get a second one (yes - I have too many watches).

Great product! Extremely well finished and functional. The case is solid (and weighty) and there is a feeling of luxury. All this achieved at a very reasonable price. The various settings work well. A couple of the round watch discs into which the watches sit were a little wobbly, but by turning the internal watch seat counter clock-wise to remove them the screw is easily accessible and can be tightened - easy done!Unfortunately, this item arrived damaged due to rough handling during shipping. I was disappointed and contacted the seller. The seller was EXCELLENT in the way they handled the issue. A new item was shipped immediately without fuss. The new unit arrived in pristine condition. Not only was I impressed by the quality of the unit but also by the exceptional level of customer service. I would have not hesitation at all in recommending purchasing a unit from this company. Ein Motor lief sehr laut, Mail an Verkäufer, 2 Wochen später war ein Ersatzmotor geliefert, eingebaut und der Geräuschpegel hat sich halbiert.Gräuschlos ist er nicht, wo sich mechanische Teile bewegen gibt es nun mal Geräusche. Für das Schlafzimmer ist er nichts, im Wohnzimmer nicht zu hören.In offenem Zustand in 20cm Abstand ca. 40 dbIn geschlossenem Zustand in 20cm Abstand ca.32 db.Super Service!
