Physique 57 Advanced Express 30 Minute Full Body Workout

Challenging and fun, short workout!
I'm a fit, 30 year old female who does a variety of workouts at the gym and on my own (running, spin class, boot camp, biking, weight lifting, Pilates, Yoga), yet this workout is a challenge. I love it! My heart gets pumping from the moves but it's also strength training/sculpting in ways I would never achieve on my own or even with weights or machines. I use this on days that I can't get outside to run or boot camp - in other words, when I need a challenging workout. I love that it's 30 minutes and seriously, it's hard, but they give you modifications to make it less challenging as well. Highly recommend if you want a different, fun type of workout that's short and intense!

I would recommend starting with the 57 minute Physique 57
Very challenging. I started out with the 57 minute DVD about a year ago. I have to say it is by far the video I have consistently done for nearly a year and have seen the changes in my muscle tone. I have quite the collection of workout videos going back to the 80's. If you want to see and feel the difference in your body, I would recommend starting with the 57 minute Physique 57. The advanced express is indeed advanced. The exercises are being done while standing on your toes.

Too fast and boring
I love barre workouts but this is way too fast and boring. The instructor is annoying.

it is alright, but I am not an advanced barre and i thought it was ok. not as strenous as I thought. she is not as annoying in this one as the first one. she needs to redo the orignial dvd.

Really good, embrace the shake
I own many of these videos and do a variety of hard core excercises like cko kickboxing and spin. Tanya less annoying. It's challenging. What I have learned after yrs of barre is that if u don't feel it ur doing it wrong and must go deeper. It should never be easy. The other express w holly Hendricks is very good also as well as any of the 30 min videos featuring Shelly knight. I have pure barre and bar method near me but they don't compare to physique. It's a great complement to crazy cardio and it does work.

Much better than her 1st video
Much better that her 1st video. It is tough and effective. The bonus is she is way less annoying than she is in Physique 57 Express 30 Minute Full Body Workout. I am new to Physique 57 and loving it. I love Beachbody's PIYO by Chalene Johnson because I feel like it gives you a long and lean result; these videos have similar results. I highly recommend all the Physique 57 workouts and the bonus is the workout flies by. No need for a Ballet Barre, I just use a chair but definitely get the playground ball, it's a game changer.

Harder than it looks
Great Barr workout. Tanya is a tad annoying to me but still a fabulous workout.

So far so good!
A friend told me about this new kind of workout she has been doing and this was it. She looked great so I wanted to try it. It's not easy but very effective! They say you see a difference after just a few weeks. The instructor is great, keeps you motivated! I will repost in a few weeks and let you know how it's been!
