Harper Brush Works 495 16-Inch Black Jumbo Metal Dust Pan

This dust pan is perfect for the garage and outdoors. It is large (pan bigger than a sheet of paper). It easily scoops up leaves and debris for disposal and the metal bottom is perfect for sweeping up a mess. I highly recommend it because it is well made, and will last a long time. The metal pan is not too thick to bend, but it won't bend easily. It's very, very sturdy and the handle is attached well - not just lightly spot welded.

Gets the job done fast and it’s well built

It's a big, black dustpan. Could be a little heavier, but it was dirt cheap and solid enough. How fancy does a dust pan need to be? I'd buy it again.

I really, really, really want to give this product 5 stars, but the obnoxious sticker makes it impossible. After nearly an hour of trying to get the gigantic sticker off this pan with just my fingernails, soap and water, and vegetable oil, I had to resort to the stinky, noxious Goo-Gone. Even then, it took plenty of work to get the adhesive off and then I had to clean up the oily, stinky mess. I really wonder about what sort of horrible chemicals are in an adhesive that requires an industrial strength pollutant to remove it. Harper Brush Works - you really need to talk to your Chinese manufacturer about a much more consumer-friendly sticker for your products.

Not shown in the picture is a huge, 4" x 6" sticker that comes on the dust pan that is of the cheap, never-comes-off-in-one-piece type. It is put on in such a way that you really have to remove it to use the item. Its just a dustpan, but if you make something with a sticker that is meant to be removed before use, you should really use a sticker that actually can be removed.Otherwise, nice dustpan.

The dust pan is very solid. My only complaint is that is was advertised at 16", the size I wanted. But they sent me a 17" pan.

This is for hubby a lil surprise. He searched for a metal dustpan and found not a one. I think he'll be quite surprised Christmas when he opens the really heavy box with the giant dustpan. Kinda wish I had ordered the smaller one but I'll bet he finds a use for this one. Great shopping place!

Love this thing! Bought it for raking leaves. We rake the good old fashioned way, so using this to scoop leaves into bags is perfect! Not only that, but it’s great for sweeping the garage/basement areas too. I’ve even used it to shovel out our wood burning fireplace when I clean it in the summer.Really just a handy, multi-purpose pan to have around and I use it frequently.
