Queen Of Jpop! One of her best albums! Beautiful pictures in photo book! My favorite song, though all are amazing is Come.

The problem is not the music but that the CD has some sort of old licensing software on it that makes it difficult to play on computers. The software is Windows 95/98 based and tried to connect to some now apparently defunct server site (so much for the cloud). Obviously the publisher has not taken the time to update the licensing tool and is just running a CD data copy tool. I can understand trying to avoid piracy but in doing so don’t make the product usability suffer, or least update the software to a current and compatible version with links to an active server. If you buy this CD keep in mind you may have trouble getting the music to a media player.

I got the cd looking for the one song from inuyasha but i love all the song. play them all the time

I was never a fan caught up in the hype and whatnot. I stubbornly hold out sometimes, just because... Before I purchased this album, I had only heard one of Amuro Namie's songs, "Something 'bout the Kiss," a song that- although popular, did not impress me. I'm not usually a good fan of albums that do what everyone else is doing at the moment, in this case, R & Bish tracks, a little rap and hip-hop, and a few true pop songs, but this album is a surprising exception. I actually found myself listening to the tracks again that I did not think I would give a second chance. These are songs well out of my favorite genre. I hate when songs are made to sound like rap, but end up being clumsy imitations. I don't know if the tracks herein are above that generalization, but somehow they definitely seem like more. I actually bought this album for one song, "Four Seasons." It was featured on "Inuyasha" once. Beautiful song. Remember, I was not a fan of Amuro Namie until I heard this song! This almost makes her eclipse the competition of Ayumi Hamasaki (who I've BEEN a fan of for a while), and Utada Hikaru. As for the rest of these hip-hopish songs that rely on repetitive beat, they actually work! I usually hate these types of songs. Tip: If you have a high-end system with less than 10% harmonic distortion, and the CD plays with better timing than the typical stereo, these songs will sound great. The repetitive, tight beat will sound the way it was meant to with a perfect spin and "perfect" decoding.

I originally bought this CD for 2 of my favorite songs from her, Come and Four Seasons. Hip-hop isn't exactly my thang, but Amie's smooth vocals and the original musical mixes were enough to sway me. There is a good mix in this CD of styles and sounds to keep me listening. The only comparason I can think of would be Beyonce, just to give you an idea of her general sound.And there are actually 15 tracks on this CD, 2 remixes. As for the price, search around on a certain auction site ;)

Namie Amuro is one of those singers that can take a song and make it somthing everybody wantts to hear. On her cd "Style", she proves yet again that she has the pipes and the style to be a great artist. She mixes pop woth hip hop on this CD, which proves to be a great combo. The songs Put Em Up, Four Seasons, Namie Style and Indy Lady are among her best. This is a Cd for all people.

Not commercial JPOP anymore...The same old Namie Amuro strike back with a new style of POP...She combine POP music with trendy R&B and HIP-HOP ... to generate a new sound of JPOP ... It's worth for me to spend my money for it ...If you listen heard enough you'll find out that the beautiful Namie bring her style to the next step ... ahead any other JPOP singer... coz now she's an artist not IDOL anymore

This cd is the best cd Namie Amuro made. I heard it and thought I might get the last cd for my collection. She rocks the pop charts all the time and yet she is still young. This album is one of her best albums and the remix of Come is excellent.

Sin duda para mi el mejor album de Namie Amuro, sobre todo que para mi tiene 3 de las mejores canciones hechas del jpop, el estuche y la presentación del disco no desentona y siguen siendo muy buenos, aunque no llega a tener la exuberancia y lujo de la mayoria de los discos de kpop que he adquirido. Este disco es "básico" para todo el que le guste el jpop y sobre todo la música de Namie Amuro.

１９９２年、安室奈美恵＆スーパーモンキーズでブレイクし、９５年ソロになり小室哲哉プロデュースになり、黄金時代を築いた安室奈美恵。歌＆ダンスだけでなく、ガールズファッションにも大きな影響をあたえました。　そんな彼女が、小室哲哉のプロデュースから離れてリリースされたのが、このアルバムでした。安室ちゃんというと、わたしのイメージは叩き上げです。小学生の頃から徒歩で１時間以上かけてアクターズスクールに通って、ダンスや歌のレッスンを受け、もちろん素質もあったのでしょうが、努力の人というイメージがあります。偶然幸運がころがりこんできたわけではなく、自らの努力で勝ち取り、シャイな人柄ですが、芯の強さを感じます。　このアルバムは、完全に小室哲哉色を払拭し、今現在の安室奈美恵の基盤ともなっていると思いました。わたしは、アルバム「ＢＥＳＴ ＦＩＣＳＴＩＯＮ」（ＤＶＤ付）で歌い踊る彼女に魅せられて、「Ｐａｓｔ＜Ｆｕｔｕｒｅ」を発売日に購入し、現在は、ソロになってからの過去のアルバムを購入して聴いています。イントロで琴（サンシン？）の音色が少し収録されている１はワクワク感がありますし、「ＢＥＳＴ〜」に収録された２曲、ダンサブルな３、そして安室ちゃんの歌の巧さが堪能できる１０のほかにも、今聴くとこのアルバムが、ソロとしての安室ちゃんの新たなスタートだった事がわかります。　なお「ＢＥＳＴ ＦＩＣＴＩＯＮ」には、「Put'Em UP」と「SO CRAZY 」が収録されています。

11/23の初の沖縄単独ライブに行った時には「今回のライブ（の曲を選定する上で）には、（今までの）アルバムの曲も入れた（ラインナップさせた）」と言っていたが、今振り返ってみると、このアルバムの時期の曲は確かに今の安室のスタイルを確立する上での基盤となっていると考えを新たにした。以前はやはり「”安室”と言えば”小室”」と言うイメージで、そこに存在を見い出すことが出来るものの、反面以降の作品には余り食指が動かず、何か新しいことをやろうと模索している感じがした。だが、今になるとそれは思ったていた以上に新鮮に感じることができた。もちろんライブで小室作品をパワフルに歌う姿は、彼女の曲への思い入れを感じることが出来るし、今聞いても作品の良さを感じられずにはいられない。しかし、これは、ある意味歴々のシングルのみで変遷を判断したり評していた小生の誤りである。ダンサブルなナンバーは今更論じることのない出来だが、それ以外で出色なのは、しっとりと情熱的に歌う"Four Seasons"で、ライブでは不覚にも涙してしまったほど心に沁みて感動的である。ステージの表現もCDでの表現でも、歌として説得力が変わらないのは流石で、CDを聞いていてもライブの感動が脳裏に蘇ってくる程である。この曲調表現は"I WILL"にも近いものを感じるが、ダンサブルナンバーが大半の安室のDiscography中で、ふと笑みの中で寂しさをみせる女性の表情の様に、バラードで切々と女心を歌う安室も最高だ。

一曲目からライブのオープニングのように引き込まれ、あっと言う間に聴き終わっていた・・。シングル発売の「shine more」「Put'em up」「so crazy」はアルバムの中で聴くと更に輝きを増す。あえて今年のシングル曲を全て盛り込んだ意思が伝わってくる。suite chicで組んだZEEBRA、VERVALがこのアルバムでもコラボレートしていてsuite chicより進化した安室を引き立て、映画犬夜叉のテーマソングである「Four seasons」は彼女のクリアな高音ボイスを引き出し、「as good as」に至ってはこんなバリバリのロックを歌ってくれたことに感動させられ、「LOVEBITE」は正に新境地。色々なスタイルを見せてくれるこのアルバム、統一感が無いなんてことはありません。一度さらっと聴いてみただけではなく、何度も何度も繰り返し聴いていくたびに全体のまとまりがわかります。かっこいいです。もちろん個々の楽曲も素晴らしく、安室奈美恵のオリジナルスタイルを築いた最高の一枚。お勧めです。私は絶対買いだと思います。
