This would have gotten 5 stars but this was listed nowhere that this diary is in Chinese! The instructions and other inserts are all in Chinese with no English version or sections. Thanks to someone on here answering my question I was able to set a new pass code which I had not been able to do since the instructions were Chinese. Through trial and error I figured out the factory pass code is 0 0 0. If you buy this you need to set the pass code to 0 0 0 then push the button to the left to open it. Then once open, you need to push the button to the right and hold it down while you set a new pass code. Close it. Now your pass code is set. You also have to have the pass code set to close it so don't turn the dials to hide your pass code until after you close it after writing in it. I bought this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it! She wanted a Hello Kitty diary so I bought this and let her decorate it with Hello Kitty stickers since the Hello Kitty diaries seemed cheap to me.
