Considering a one drawer dishwasher for a couple. Can the face drawer be covered with the same material as the cabinets?

about 11 years ago we were able to have the face of the dishwasher covered in matching wood to the cabinets in our RV. this was done professionally so i do not know how - the work had been completed before we saw it.

Does the drawer lock for travel?

Unfortunately the unit was delivered damaged so I never kept one.
