The First Men in the Moon and A Modern Utopia (Wordsworth Classics)

You'll like this affordable paperback if you like to read Wells. They get to the Moon by using ... (well, it's a secret). The point is, two men collaborate for that journey and the ending is wonderful. I will keep it a mystery, because that's all there is to it.Wells's idea of a modern Utopia failed even in his own lifetime, but it explains two world wars: the modernist imbecility that believed in Science as God. Wells was popular, but I think fairly limited in his knowledge of science, and it tells when I read it in 2021: it's like reading a comic, without illustrations.An affordable edition.

Great story, but very small print.

Another fantastic book from the master himself, as with any HG Wells book; recommend.
