Awesome longboard
People always stop me and compliment me on this board. It has a classic surf look and the woodwork is elegant in its simplicity -- odd comment for a skateboard, I know, but people really like the woodwork on this thing.Beyond its looks, it is an incredibly easy and comfortable ride. The wide trucks make it very stable. I highly recommend it to new riders and those looking for a smooth, good looking ride. It's not for people looking for a racing board or an easily tucked away "commuter" board -- I recently got a smaller board that I can stash in a bag when I walk into meetings so that I don't get "the look." All and all, it's one great board for riders of all skill levels, for relaxing and enjoying life.

WARNING
I purchased this board for it's "surf board look" and after waiting a few days when it arrived it was poorly packaged, cheap looking, didn't even have wheel wells, and instantly reminded me of the that fake teak wood look you see so often in cars these days trying very hard to look classy but completely falling short of the goal. I then proceeded to brake this board after only a week of riding! Stick to the Barefoot Long Boards or the Sector 9 boards! I have since ordered many of both and have been extremely pleased with both companies.~ push more... drive less....

Ok for the price
I bought this longboard for 85$. Overall for the price, its an ok bargain. It would probably be next to impossible to find a comparable board at a lower pricepoint. However, its not nearly as good as the high-end boards I've ridden in the past. This is more of a 'cruise around town' type of board. I doubt it would hold up very long under extreme use.The deck itself is made from a lightweight type plywood. It has a lot of flex to it. I found that it bounces a bit when you really kick hard. My girlfriend ran the board into a concrete barrier and put a crack in the nose the second time we took it out. The crack was only an inch long and went through about 4 of the 7 layers, so I opted just to superglue it rather than try to get my money back. It was more her fault than the board. The glue sealed the crack completely and Ive taken the board out several times since. I added a homemade rubber bumper to the nose to keep it from happening again. The wheels seem to be very high quality. After about 6 times out, they show no signs of any wear and tear. The trucks are decent, but they opted to use a piece if plastic on the kingpin rather than the usual hard rubber piece. The plastic has a bit too much play for my taste. As far as the overall aesthetic, the board as a whole looks pretty nice. It doesn't look cheap. The underside of the board has a wood panel design, and the grip tape on top is striped with a small logo near the nose. It looks like something you would ride down the boardwalk in Huntington Beach.I don't regret buying the board, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to a friend, especially after we cracked it on the second day. For a bit more money, there are probably better boards out there.

I love the board
This board is slightly concave which helps grip, the nose actually is slightly slanted making nose wheelies easier not sure of the skate name for that. I changed the wheels to the Orangatang Kegel's which are awesome and upgraded the bearings to Bones Reds. I took her out today before and after work and I'm loving the current set up. It is the perfect cruiser. I was turning down a big hill today and got a bit of a slide going too. Fun!

Smooth and fun
I wanted a board to kick around the neighborhood with and stay in touch with the feel of surfing when I couldn't make it out to the break. This board is plenty sturdy and rides great. The wheels are large and smooth, and the trucks are nice and wide. It carves easily and the kick tail helps to get over any obstacles. The paint job is stylish/old school. Overall I am loving this skate board.

LOVE this board
I bought this board so I could teach my 9yr old daughter how to board. She liked it so much over her short board that I never got to ride it. I had to purchase another board, not a Surf One, to ride with her. LOVE the REDS. They are so much faster than the ABEC 5's in the other board I bought. Solid sturdy board.

After a few hit and misses
I have had some mixed experiences with amazon and skateboard equipment. I don't know if its because of the industry, but I was ready to receive a deck only despite the description. Or at best an floor model with road rash. I was shocked when I received a pristine board, and it is exactly what it said it would be.Nice bend , bounce and randall trucks. Very nice board!
