I use these for cleaning the skin around my ileostomy stoma. I add water and a foaming soap, which the tight weave holds up to well. They are durable, can be cut to cover wounds with tape. You get a good amount for the price.

I actually use these to clean my dogs teeth before applying the gel recommended by my vet. Cleaning my dogs (2 of them) teeth had always been a chore they didn't like at all especially when I used a tooth brush. My vet recommended using gauze pads and these have worked very well. I wrap one around my index finger and rub it across my dogs teeth. Their teeth have stayed much cleaner and they have not needed to undergo general anesthesia for any dental concerns. As a nurse I've used these types of gauze pads for years and have always kept them on hand for all kinds of emergencies from the most minor, cleaning a cut or scrap, to more major ones.

These are the same sponges the the nurses were used in the NICU of the hospital that our premie baby was born. Our baby loved this sponges since they are very soft on the skin but also small enough to handle the diaper change. Any ointment that you apply with this sponge is seamless and does not leave any residue on your hands. They are easy to store and dispose when they are used. We highly recommend them for wiping out your baby.

I PURCHASED THESE FOR WOUND CARE AFTER A SURGERY. I REALLY LIKE TO NON WOVEN MATERIAL, THEY ARE MUCH SOFTER THAN THE GAUSE AND HOLD THEIR SHAPE. ALSO A MUCH LARGER PACKAGE THAN IS AVAILABLE IN THE DRUG STORE

I need gauze like material for clean but not necessarily sterile use. In the past all I could find around home was the sterile gauze pads. This is a silly solution as it is very expensive. These pads\ sponges do everything my old sterile gauze pads did except clean out my wallet.
