60W LED Flood Light, STASUN 5400lm LED Security Lights Outdoor with Wide Lighting Area, 6000K Daylight, Built with Cree LED Chips, Waterproof, Great for Entryways, Yard, Garage

This light is quite bright. We have a horse farm and already use CREE LED's for our dressage arena, and when I saw that this light was aCREE LED I wanted it. We use it for a barn entrance and it works well. (See Updates below) Installing it was NOT easy because the light is very heavy. When I put it up I found that holding it with one hand and trying to get this thiing bolted to an articulating arm (due to the need for the angled installation) was very hard. I wound up zip tying it first to the arm and then bolting it later. When this was solved, installation is easy. For some reason I do not really get, the end of the electric cord has a plug on it instead of being longer and plain. I think they should not do this as most exterior applications I have ever heard of do not use an electrical socket. Otherwise, I hope it lasts because it works well. I also connected it to a DualBright Sensor to regulate it. Works really well!UPDATE: In June of 2018 5 of the LEDs stopped working. I contacted Stasun through Amazon and found them to be very easy to communicate with. I sent them photos of the installation and the light so they could see the problem and they promptly replaced it. I found the entire support process to be quite pleasant. So I think these are good people!UPDATE 2: Now my review below is correct. However, I actually cut the plug end and wired it directly to an interior box to avoid all moisture problems because this is Florida and hot as hell and rainy like monsoon in the Himalaya! I was worried that they would not like this if I returned it, but they actually suggested it first so I confessed that this is what I did ;-) And as far as installation goes, well, this time I pulled my truck backwards to the driveway from the side and thus solved my ladder at a weird angle problem and all my concerns about the weight of this while installing were resolved. So read below with these caveats.

Product is very good, Item arrived fast and in great condition. These lights so bright. I installed 6 50 watts lights in the back of building and one 70 watts light at the side.

I did not expect too much on the product with this level of price. However, I have to give a 5 plus star at the moment. The light is very bright and it is enough for our back yard. We put this near the deck on the 2nd floor, so all back yard and deck are covered. Although having two would be brighter, we found one is enough for us enjoy summer night. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs brightness outdoor. The cord is not that long, there for you need an extension cord if the outlet on the wall is not the place that you want to hang this LED. But this is easy. Shipping is very quick. Overall, we love this one, and we are glad that we found this works so well as our first trial.

Can't comment on longevity, as I just received it.The frame IS heavy, but this is a good thing; it needs a good heat sink. I ordered the 50 Watt version, and it arrived quickly, well-packaged, in perfect condition, exactly as described. I like the integrated 3-prong cable, simplifying installation and portability between sites for use. Very bright, and the cool white color temp was just what I expected - close enough to "daylight" lamps I use in my garage that the difference isn't jarring.Although the product description states 50W, I measure 58 watts, or 59 VA. Not a big deal, for me, but if you are considering lights from other sources, you might want to look at 60W for comparison.One unusual factor for consideration: the radiator frame makes it easy to thread through a couple of cable ties to hang, the unit vertically, and it puts out enough light that I am happy bouncing the flood off a wall for indirect lighting in my garage. This effectively eliminates the glare factor; making the area much more comfortable to work in. Although I'd like to use it for a while before committing to more, it is just too appealing (and cost effective) to wait; I'm ordering another 'just in case'.

I bought the Stasun 10W flood with cool white leds. This is the basic light they offer, no optional motion light feature.It works fine and does exactly what I hoped it would. Great quality and design and appears to be completely weather proof.I also like the way you can mount the light in various angles.The only thing I would add or change in the set up instructions is to explain how the 3 wires are supposed to be connected. It only says the Blue wire should go to 110v AC so I connected it to the Black wire ("Hot wire" on my 110v system). No mention what the Yellow wire is to be used for. I'm guessed it was something for the Motion Light feature and didn't connect it to anything. The other wire I connected to the White wire (neutral or ground) on my 110v AC circuit. I put a switch in series with the Blue wire and now I can turn it on and off from a wall plate switch. I like the amount of light and the flood light pattern it puts out.

Bought the 50w light in August of 2017 it lasted almost a year without issues, until just this week, it stopped working (July 2018)! We used the light for night time light for a goat pen. Had it hooked up to a smart plug that was set on a timer from dusk to dawn. Tried plugging into an outlet and it still doesn't work...I know it's not the smart plug. Anybody know what kind of warranty these lights have??

These lights seem well made with a cast aluminum case and are very bright. The color balance is about 5000k and is much better than halogen. Importantly, these lights can be left on for several hours and the housings are easy to handle without danger of burning. MUCH safer than the old style halogen lamps. I do wish the cords were longer as that would have been better for my particular needs. I just bought some extension cords to fix that.

I have now purchased three of these lights and they are the best outdoor lights i have purchased yet. I do a lot of work outside of my shop after dark and i have these hard wired i plan to purchase some more to replace my flood lights on my house. The housing is extremely solid and durable and mounting is easy, especially when you on top of a ladder. The only thing i would like to see is maybe a small junction box option, but cutting the plug off is not a big deal.
