The plastic zipper sticks often, and makes it difficult to slide. This causes a bit of anxiety if it's already on and I'm trying to get it off. If I yank hard enough, it will finally move, but it feels like I'm going to break the cheap plastic zipper. I tried oiling it with some coconut oil, but it didn't help. I tried trimming some little extra plastic slag that might have been getting in the way, but that didn't help either. This tie remains a bit of a pain to use the zipper.I don't know how they call this a 20 inch tie. It measures 21.25 inches from the top of the knot to the pointy end, and 19.5 inches from the bottom of the knot.Anyway, I'm 6 ft 1 inches tall, and this tie hangs almost 3 inches below my pants waist. Would have been better to get the 17 inch model.When zipped up tight around my neck, the skinny back end isn't long enough to tuck into the label, so it flops around showing the zipper mechanism.

I like the fit, the color and the length. However the manufacturer ships the tie in a flat cardboard sleeve, folded in half. There is a crease right in the middle of the tie. This material doesn’t look like something that can be ironed. If the tie had been wrapped around a wing shaped piece of cardboard there would have been no problem. These are good ties, and the men in our choir really like the zipper feature. However, when I reordered (buy-it-again) from my previous order list, even though the color description was the same (purple), and the color on the page was the same, the ties that came were a completely different color. I realize that there is a wide range of purples, and also that screens don't accurately show the color. But this was not the problem. The original "purple" was what I would call "orchid", lighter with more red than blue. What I got was what I'd call a true dark purple--the same color as the men's shirts and therefore not usable for us. I sent them back. Apparently, our original color is no longer available, even though the site indicates that it is.

Purchased Royal Blue. It is perfect! Exactly what i wanted. It compares to the quality of Walmart’s George brand. We already had a black zip tie, so I knew how they worked and we love them, so easy. Instead of searching stores all over to get the right color, I ordered from Amazon! So glad I did. Just have to iron it, I had to iron the one from Walmart too. The color is perfect, soft satin, free of snags, and it zips and unzips great! The fabric does not have a weird smell either, like some things can when ordering. So happy!!!

I bought this for my 18 year old son and, even though he was very gentle with it, the plastic part that holds the zipper together snapped off the first time he tried to use it. What a waste of money! It was easier and cheaper to just teach him to tie his own tie (not to mention faster, since I didn't have to wait for it to ship to my home). Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage with the cheap plastic zipper. My son's words? "Mom, why did we waste money on this thing? Tying a real tie wasn't as hard as I though it'd be!"

This is an excellent tie!!!! The zipper is ingenious! It looks like a regular tie except you don't have to fool with trying to tie it! My husband absolutely loves it and when I find more in different colors and patterns, I will definitely buy them! You can not go wrong and best part no one can tell it from a regular tie.

I used to have to wear a tie but after retiring I only wear one when I want to. However, over the years I forgot how to properly make the knot and standing in front of a mirror only made things worse. These zipper ties are so easy to use I don't have to think about what I am doing. Kudos to whoever came up with the idea.
