The jacket, while advertised as water resistant, has help up extremely well in rain. The pockets are all lined with mesh so they work alongside the armpit vents to release heat. The best part is that the jacket looks very cool.

I buy a lot of gear and don't often write reviews but I have to say that this soft shell is amazing. As usual I did plenty of research and could have easily bought a Condor Summit but I'm glad I decided to try Pentagon. The stitching and attention to detail really shows. Zippers are great although the front zipper is on the left which takes a little getting used to. Must be a European thing. I was concerned about sizing being Pentagon is a European company but the size chart was pretty spot on for Americans. I'm 5'10" 215 lbs with broad shoulders and the XL fits perfectly with a little room for a light layer. I love the cuffs because they're Velcro adjustable and are also stretchy so once you set it taking it on and off is easy.The bottom drawstrings are bundled and face up (like Arc'teryx) so they're easy to tighten with one upward pull. There are several good videos online that show all this. The grindle green is more like ranger green than foliage. It's an earthy green/grey mix which is darker than foliage. This shipped from Military 1st in London and I received it in New York in 10 days. Nothing against Condor but if you're looking for a tactical softshell spend the extra $30 plus $10 for shipping and try the Artaxes. You won't regret it.

Bottom Line: Excellent Jacket. I love the way it fits and looks. Seems quite durable and has plenty of pockets.I am 6’1” tall and 165lbs; I originally ordered a size medium expecting a nice form-fit, but it was very obviously too small for my frame despite being skinny. I returned the jacket and ordered a large to replace it and it fits perfectly.Minor defect on right wrist cuff. The defect seems to be from factory but I believe it will hold up just fine (mainly because I don’t want to wait another 3 weeks to receive a replacement).

This jacket is high quality. It’s European sized, that means it will be thin in the body and long in the arms. Think 6’3 185, xl.Cons. Not 100% waterproof. Tight in the chest and shoulders region. It is kinda stiff, might need to be broken in, which will also lower the water proofing ability.

I like the functionality of this jacket it’s everything I thought it would be.

If you wear normally US XXL, get the 4Xl. It will still a tight fit but this product is amazingly well built, has a fantastic and unique color, and definitely worth every penny.

Stellar jacket. Phenomenal fit, and best of all it came on time even though it was shipped from the U.K.Definitely recommend over any other soft shell jacket on the market

Jacket is nice. I bought a 2x but it didn’t fit more like a large so I gave it to my son. I then bought a 3x, still not big enough since I wear a 2xl so I put it in the closet.

Buen producto, tallaje normal. El cuadro de tallas, al menos en mi caso de cintura no es la que indican. No es para Invierno , Invierno va luigermantte forrado pero no llega a ser ni un polar 100. Como win stopper bien, buenos acabados. Lastima.

Todo perfecto, el producto es lo esperado, la talla perfecta y muy buena calidad, muy contento.

Me quedaba un poco justa, ya que talla como dos tallas menos. Pero en unos dias me cambiaron de talla y todo perfecto.
