Just What I Expected
I bought this product for my new Keltec PF9. The holster itself is made of a high quality plastic that feels extremely durable. The paddle portion of it has a rubberized backing that helps to keeps it where you want it on your BODY rather than moving with your pants. Of course, the latter is going to happen as much as you try... but the rubber does seem to do a fine job of keeping it firmly in position for consistent placement and draw. The paddle has a fairly deep ridge on it which is designed to ride along your belt so that the paddle will not slide out of your pants on the draw. I have only worn this holster with a belt, but even with the retention screw as tight as I'm comfortable with (pretty tight) it stays in place every time I draw... even when I'm purposely attempted to dislodge the holster while drawing. The holster portion is riveted to the paddle and is support by a metal backing that spans the three rivets.Although this holster is made to accept several makes of guns, I could have been told this was designed specifically for the pf9 and never known the difference. A previous reviewer said that his weapon had some move in the holster. While this holds true for my weapon as well, it's not what you would think. There is no side-to-side movement. The gun stays as close to your body as the holster can allow and will not wobble inwards or outwards from your body. Though, the weapon does rock back and forth (imagine the muzzle rise when firing) ever so slightly, but I only noticed it after reading the previous review. It does not seem to move when placed on my hip.I bought this holster specifically for open carry and it serves the purpose wonderfully. I'm most comfortable with it at the 4 o'clock position, but can also attest to its overall "wearable" comfort as well. I walk my dog in the evening and we often walk as far as 5 miles. This holster holds the gun right in position and with little to no bouncing as you walk. I literally wear it all day.For it's purpose and price point, this holster is a five star product. However, I would not recommend you intend to buy this for concealed carry. I am a rather large guy at 6' 200lbs and cannot conceal this under anything but my baggiest of shirts which are typically reserved for nightwear. If you're looking for a well built, comfortable, and capable open carry holster, look no further.

Fobus Paddle for Kel-Tec PF9
Many people talk disapprovingly of the Fobus line of paddle holsters, but this is my 4th. They are comfortable, quick on and off, and the firearm always snaps snug into the holster. You do need to wear a gun belt with the paddles so that the holster is locked onto something. I've read reviews of people that said the holster came off on the gun....Well that can happen if you are not wearing a belt! Duh!!!I have two paddles for my Glock 19, one for my little Kel-Tec P3AT, and now this one. Great for wearing at the range, while hiking or camping, and when cool weather abounds. The paddle is not as good of a concealment design as an IWB, but meets the needs of a CCW holder who wants a holster that comes off quickly when for leaving in the car without having to totally thread your IWB off your belt. These holsters are amazing for the price and beat anything in the same price range especially the crummy nylon snap holster you can buy at big box stores, or leather holsters that look like they are from 100 years ago.

Pretty good for what it costs
The holster looks and feels really well made... It fits confortably and weights almost nothing... The retention screw allows you to adjust how tight/loose you want the gun when you draw...But, this is why I don't give it a five-star score, the holster is advertised for the Browning BDA (and I checked this in the Fobus web page prior to purchasing it) but the gun doesn't quite fit right in the holster... There is a huge gap between the gun and the holster itself and this causes the gun to move when holstered.I don't think it will fall out or anything but I was expecting a tighter fit.

WAY too much retention
I can't see anybody trying to use this big thermo-plastic thing for concealed carry. So, I'd classify it as a "range holster."The problem? The retention on this thing makes getting the gun out of the holster seriously DIFFICULT. You have to pull the gun STRAIGHT UP, and I do mean *straight* -- My wife has been learning to shoot and has a Mark III. I got this holster for her to use at the range. It frustrated the heck out of her. Even after I explained about drawing the gun straight up, and even after I "modified" the tension adjustment to have even LESS tension than would normally be possible, it frustrated her.So... I can't really recommend this holster for range use. And I can't recommend it for CCW use (who would CCW a Mark III anyways). So, I guess... I can't recommend this holster at all.

Buy it.
bought this one for friend who carries Keltec PF-9 (Holster SG239). Fits perfect. Have one for my Interarms PPK/S (Holster PPKE2), also fits perfect. Retention system is adjustable and works very well. Super awesome holster. Didn't think I could get something that works so damn well for this kind of money. Buy it. Now.

Fobus holsters
I have several Fobus holsters they are my favorite brand. They are well made and are not over priced. They are a practical design for the way I use them. Their holsters are easy put on and take off. The ones I have are adjustable tension so they hold the pistol well. Haven't found any better ones for the price.
