The Emerson CQC-15 is a hybrid of two of our most popular and classic models: The Commander and the CQC-7B. The piercing point of the Emerson CQC-7B and the graceful cutting efficiency of the Emerson Commander, the CQC-15 is born. This knife sports a comfortable, secure, ergonomic handle gives you the best of both worlds. The Emerson CQC-15 is truly one helluva knife. It features a tanto/recurve blade combo that suits its use in any environment, from the boardroom to the deployment staging area. This knife has already hit the streets of Baghdad and has been moving quick and quiet. This knife is a sturdy, aggressive tool that will definitely get you out of a jam if you ever need it.

Good EDC choice
Rock solid lock up and really gives you the feel of a fixed blade, the G10 scales are textured very well for dry or wet conditions. Only down side I see is right side carry only, you have to send it off to Emerson for left side. Over all I enjoy this knife.

Great knife! Came sharp but a little stiff
Great knife! Came sharp but a little stiff. Definitely takes some break-in time but the action is smooth. The belly ensures that it is a pretty good slicer, and the G10 and handle design ensure I won't lose my grip on it. The wave feature is cool although it doesn't seem to actuate well on 511 pants. Not a big issue for me as this knife feels like it will handle all the abuse I can throw at it.

NOT the Mini version of this knife!
I am giving this particular product 1 star due to the fact it is not the Mini-CQC 15 as listed. This is in fact the full size Emerson CQC-15. I have 5 other Emerson knives and all are great, hard use fighting knives. Please bear in mind the reason for the poor review..Emerson knives are great, not so much when you receive a knife different than what you thought you were purchasing.

Very sharp.
I love this knife. Emerson makes quality knives for every application. And best of all...Made in the USA.

Just an ok knife
Ok knife. Compares with knives in the $75-$120 range. Not worth the price for sure.
