This is a surprise given its price, it turned out to be quite solid and well-made. Works great with good visual and audio quality. Definitely recommended!

This product was somewhat good, when i first got it. But recently its been getting worst and worst and just today, it got stolen and there is no way I could check who stole it as the product does show any video or photo if the product is not plugged in. Horrible product and dont recommend.

So I went from a 1 star (0 really) to a 3 star, back to a 1 star. After getting it connected and apparently working once it will no longer do anything. The whole app is completely unresponsive and I'm not going through the trouble of reinstalling it yet again. Furthermore, the doorbell itself seems to be completely dead after 2 days despite having charged it before installation. To add the final insult to injury, when dismounting the thing to prepare for return, only one screw came out. Two busted at the head, one stripped out to where I had to drill through it to get the mounting plate free, slightly damaging the plate in the process. I'm going to be furious if I don't get my refund because of it.I really do wish it had worked. I feel like most of it's problems are software related. If they got that ironed out they could run circles around that certain overpriced one with no onboard recording storage everybody knows.Lovely item, excellent packaging, even includes a scrwedriver for the battery cover. There are two apps. I downloaded them both. Neither one was capable of connecting this doorbell to my network.It would be an excellent product if it worked.*The next day*Started the process to return, but saw the option for technical support. Thought I'd give it one more try and use the tech support. Reinstalled the app (the first one, not the second version) and it just worked. First try, not a single hiccup. The only thing I can think of is I had plugged in the indoor chime last night, but didn't have it plugged in tonight. I can't imagine that made a difference, but there ya go.

I've read the reviews and honestly I think they're fair and accurate. I bought this one for the price in hopes the product will last far longer than a few weeks to a couple of months. Based on the input from other buyers, I believe it's safe to suspect the doorbell stops functioning after updating the firmware through the app. So, I'm choosing not to update the product (see the app screen; the red dot is an update prompter). Getting to my review, the setup was easy. The video quality is considerably good for the price. Sound quality is clear enough to clearly distinguish words. As for the sensitivity, I would recommend starting the setting in the center of the bar, especially if you have creepy crawlers in the vicinity of your doorbell. The battery life is much better than expected. The included batteries had a pre-existing charge which didn't require recharging until four days after setup. There's also an already installed memory card and functioning plug in chime. The chime was simple to sync to the doorbell; just scroll through the musical tunes using the up and down arrows. Pick a tune by depressing the volume button for 5 secs or until a beep is heard. Again depress the volume button for another 5 secs, wait for beep and then depress the doorbell button twice to successfully link the chime to the doorbell.I think it's important to share some accessories found here at Amazon for this video doorbell. First up is a solar charging panel by Wasserstein currently priced at $24.99. It has the positive and negative connectors to attach to the rear of the doorbell for continuous charging. The moment I connected the solar panel to the video doorbell and placed it in the noon sun, the charging icon showed in the app! ... SWAY for sure!! That my friends is the CON since this product might not work two months from the purchase date. It's no wonder the customer service and product quality are reported by others to draw skeptism. Only time will tell. I will update my review after 75 days.

Installation and setup was simple but having problems getting it to work. Hooked it up to my existing doorbell and wiring. Doorbell will ring randomly about every 30-45 minutes and nothing outside set it off. Read about fully charging the batteries so hooked it up to a micro usb and had it facing a wall it would still randomly send a signal to my phone. Don’t know if the unit is defective or not. I’m pretty tech savvy but this has me beat. A friend who has another manufacturers video doorbell is going to look at it tomorrow. May end up sending this back.

This doorbell isn’t worth the $49.00. The batteries didn’t come charged. When I did charge the device the batteries wouldn’t stay charged. The instructions it comes with is complete garbage and not useful at all. Waste of $49.00. Will be buying the ring doorbell and spending the extra money for a quality product

Looks real nice and appears to be of quality construction. The chimes are nice and there is a nice selection to choose from. You are required to download a Wi-fi app ( TooSee ). Could not get this app to connect with the video/doorbell. My modem would not connect with or without this app. So, I ordered a much more expensive one. (sigh)…. Here's the thing. Had the same problem..... until I realized the Wi-fi company tech had used a different password. Could have saved me a lot of trouble.

I've been searching and looking around for doorbell camera and I felt lucky that I found this particular Wireless Video Smart Doorbell Camera. This is because it got all the best features that I've been needing. As I've experienced using it already, it sure did worked as described on the website. We're happy and satisfied with it.
