slow to sink
Standing in waist deep water i threw on a school of finger mullet. They were swimming at the surface; not a foot underwater, but the surface. I threw directly on top of them from about 7 feet away. bullseye. They easily swam down and pushed on while i watched my net slowly sink to the bottom. To catch whitebait/greenbacks/threadfin..(you wont believe this)..i chum the water with a can of catfood or whatever, and when the bait shows up, I then get out of the boat and walk straight thru the bait, while kicking up as much sand as possible. Why? So they cant see the net im about to throw when i turn back around..and still i get only the slowest bait.Go ahead and order it, but youll see.Ive never seen anything sink so slow..ive been throwing castnets since the early 90s.The net is quality, perhaps there are people out there who dont fish water thats clear. Maybe it works for them but for getting bait around florida, this isnt the net.The weights appear to be rubber or something soft. perhaps they should be a bit heavier for this net?

Great 6 foot cast net for a beginner or more experienced person.
I really like this 6' cast net. I'm very new to throwing a cast net and this one is pretty easy to throw even for a novice like me. Maybe the instructions that come with it are great, but I just couldn't get it figured out based on the manufacturers instructions. So I checked on YouTube and found some really good tutorials on throwing a 6' cast net. Within a few casts I got fairly proficient with it. I think the 2 best things on this net is that number one there's only 3/4 pounds of weights per foot so it's not as heavy as some others. The other thing I like is the comfort cuff that you slip over your hand and wear on your wrist. The name comfort cuff is very accurate since it is very comfortable. Check the laws in your state to verify if it is legal to use one of these nets. Where I live in Michigan it's only legal to use them in the Great Lakes, but not in any of the channels and lakes that are connected to the Great Lakes or any other inland waters. When it's time to replace my net I will buy another one of this brand.

just received, looks well made!
haven't used it yet, but it looks very well made. The package(carry tote) it came in looks like it will stand up to use as well. I'll update more in the spring. The delivery driver (Nico I think)was polite and brought the package up and put under the overhang to protect it from the weather and away from poachers!

Great net for the kayak
Great net for throwing on mullet from my kayak. The 4’ is just big enough to throw for me while standing on a somewhat stable kayak and the sink rate is great for such a small net. From a boat I prefer a 7’ but for inshore kayak fishing this one works great.

A good versatile cast net.
A cast net that is durable enough to handle stress, heavy enough to catch plenty bait, and cheap enough that if if does get damaged on debris you can just order another one.

Sweet cast net
The cast net I ordered looked better then I expected and I enjoy that it comes with instructions on how to use it that are easy to understand

Don't go to the beach without this!
Absolutely added fun to our vacation this year. We caught crabs, fish and a sting ray ...bonus is the container doubled as a fish observation area until we threw them back.

Works great!
Works great! Takes awhile to get used to, but today was my first time throwing a castnet, and managed to land 2 baitfish in the second try! It’s by no means a large or “professional” level net, but gets the job done!

Buen producto en general, red, contrapesos, etc.
La tarraya está muy bien en cuestión de calidad, los contrapesos son aceptables, la Maya es fuerte
