Coastal Scents Eclipse Concealer Palette

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! I changed my rate from 4 stars to. 5!!!! I used conceal palette to cover a love bit (a hickey) on a client. The love bite was around the neck area right above the collar line of his t-shirt. I used the green balance first to cover the deep red and then covered it with his shade to match and then powder to set it. I put it on at 930am...it stayed on all day shirt rubbing on it at time ...hot and cold weather. ...it stayed put!!!..tell we took it off at 10 pm no lie!! I was shocked..thinking the love bite just went away...no still there red as hell...THIS PRODUCT ROCKS!!! 6 STARS IF I COULD...BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY! ! love coastal makeup line....its secret around the makeup industry, shhhhh..he concealed palettes worked great!!I used it on a bride and the party for a wedding ...it lasted ..creamy. didn't run...comes in many different shades to match it just right and it has the green ,violet & white balance ( u don't find the white balance that much with concealer palette) so it very professional ....give it try ...I'm sure you will love it!!!! Very happy

Having all these shades in a palette has been life changing for me. I’ve always purchased a much more expensive single concealer. I saw this in a video and was desperate to cover a zit. I rarely get them at this point so I didn’t want to spend much. This is so much more effective bc the green cancels out the redness of a pimple and then you can mix up the skin tones to go over top of it. I never understood that was the way to use a green. Honestly, amazing! So much better than my old method of a single color bc you can get some variation,like real skin has. This is awesome for the price! I wish is was a little more air tight to prevent drying out but no sign of that yet anyway. It’s pretty creamy. I’d say it lasts a couple hours before creasing up on the dry areas but that’s still better than most. Good, dewy finish not dry at all. It’s large but very lightweight and able to fit in a purse.

I have used small concealer palettes, the type you can fit in a makeup bag, and decided to try this before going on to larger palettes. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: color corrective shades, mix and match shading, extensive shades which can double for contouring, portable, price Cons: no directions for how to apply, getting the hang of mixing to match skintone, doesn't conceal completely, a little greasy I would suggest letting this kit "warm" a bit by placing near a sunny window, just so that it is easier to apply, otherwise, it's a little cakey to start. I had to search online to see what the white pearl shade does, and figured out it was a highlighter. The other shades, if you are used to color correcting, they cancel out their opposite colors, so like green cancels out red. Again, I wish this came with instructions. The concealer didn't cover as well as I hoped, but for the price, it's a good base before foundation and powder providing more coverage and at that point, it would be a makeup routine for evening occasions. A plus is because there are other shades, you can use the light and dark ones for highlighting and contouring and again for the price, a nice way to practice with trying those make-up techniques.

Amazing! Good Stuff! I love make up, if you haven't heard already. I have wanted to buy professional concealer for a long time. I am on a strict budget, but I did not want to put just anything on my face. I took a risk and tried Coastal. I have heard good reviews of Coastal products from others, so I said why not. With the price I paid, I could not feel as bad if I did not like the product, compared to if I would have spent department store price. I use the palette for my "special" wear, so I think it will last me a while. The good thing about this is that I get a wide range of colors to allow for mix and match to get a good coverage. I have a lighter color to allow a "highlight" color and darker colors for when my sister comes to visit. If you are prone to break out, I would try to get a sample first, before investing in products, regardless of price. The most important thing is your face, and you know you better then anyone. I hope that you have good results as I did. PS: If you are going to purchase make up that is not liquid as it's original form... purchase it during the colder months! My palette kept it's solid form when I received it. There was a small crack in one of the colors (At first, I thought it was a hair). Overall, it wasn't something that would kill me.

This arrived on time and was well packaged/ The container itself is slim and easily opened and yet stays closed firmly. The palette colors are just as the appeared in the pic and although a few of them are very dark for my complexion I have tried mixing them and it worked out well. The concealers are creme, not powder but not real creamy---a drier sort of creme. I think this is why they are so long lasting on the skin. I have layered them to good effect and as I stated before they are also mixable together so you can personalize them to suit your need and complexion. There is no discernible scent to add to any of the other scents you might have in your makeup and it's nice to not have to smell makeup on your face, I try to avoid any scents in my cosmetics. Because the palette container itself is so thin I do wonder how much is actually in the pans and how long it will last, I will have to update with this info at a later date. I recommend this product and if it lasts well I will definitely buy it again.

got my concealer palette well in shape nicely packed ..love all the colors.. light in applying, blends easily and gives soft contouring ..did not cracked or cakey ..gonna buy again ... thanks to booyahchicago and Amazon for such a nice deal. Recommended if any1 wants to try this palette.

I've been using this product for 6 months now and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants more options and flexibility in their concealer. As no-one's face is the same colour all over it's great that you can match any part of it to your concealer with mixing and blending. Although I was worried that I wouldn't use all the colours (I'm very pale) I've found that I've been using the mid-range colours for precision contouring around my nose and lips and the darker shades as gel-like eyeliners and even as intense eyebrow fillers when doing fancy dress. When first applied you get medium coverage which is easily built up and the staying power is impressive. With a good primer and a bit of setting powder I've had 18 hour days without it shifting.

This is a highly pigmented, diverse product. The texture is thick, creamy and provides high coverage. It seems to be oil based, and so it doesn't melt off the face too easily (although, I do have dry skin), and works best with a primer, since its thickness makes it a little difficult to apply. I use most of the shades here, although some shades while appearing saturated are actually quite grey on application. This doesn't matter as much since there are so many other shades to mix in. Great quality for the price.
