IXS Men's Criton Jacket (Hi-Viz Yellow/Black, Large)

The Criton jacket is very well designed. It has a lot of cooling vents whose zippers work easily. I especially like the vent along the sleeve running down to the cuff, as this can pull in a lot of air. I've used it on hot summer days as well as cooler days and it is comfortable and not too hot. The inner liner zips out for warm weather riding. The color is really bright green/yellowish, not yellow, and it is very visible. The quality is excellent and much better than my other textile jacket that cost more. If you are a rider looking for a high-vis jacket that is really well designed, this is a good one to buy.

I LOVE THIS JACKET. But...it is NOT and I repeat NOT in any shape form or fashion YELLO!! I was trying to pimp my ride with hi viz YELLOW and this is nothing short of hi viz GREEN. Someone in marketing is color deficient. The jacket is NOT and I repeat NOT waterproof or water resistant. Look at the picture, its on a heater drying out. I was in a huge downpour and had a waterfall down the jacket into my pants. I did not have the liner in during the rain since it was mid 60's. Out side of that I do enjoy the jacket and it performs awesome in the winter time, not sure about the summer but in 70's it was warm but not overbearing.

So far, without the liner at 55 F it is very comfortable and at 80 F with a few vents open it was also comfortable. I think that 40F with the liner is going to be just fine. Very bright.
