Solved my processor heating problem.
This product was easy to install. Getting the old one out and cleaning up the old grease was harder. My reason for buying this product was to solve a processor overheating problem, due mostly (entirely) to the dried up thermal grease. This fan and heatsink assembly came with rubber-like thermal pads instead of thermal grease. I was skeptical at first, but they actually work quite well and are super easy to work with. My laptop processor runs much much cooler now. Before it would idle at 75C and frequently go above 95C. Now it idles at 51-54C and rarely (almost never) gets above 75C, and the fan never has to switch to its highest speed anymore. Also, after running at full load, the temperature drops really fast after it's done. It seemed like I got a brand new computer.

Just like original
Carefully removed the old fan and heat sink and replaced with new. You definitely want to get the whole setup (fan plus heat sink) when your fan goes bad.
