This is a GOOSE egg cup.
My daughter loves boiled goose eggs and the geese are laying. So when I saw the reviews that this is way too big for chicken eggs I took notice. For her birthday I gave her this along with HIC Brands that Cook Egg-Click and Endurance Egg Spoons Stainless Steel Set of 4 All of them work perfectly. You may be able to use this for largish duck eggs but not sure. The smaller cup will hold a large chicken egg if you put it pointy side down but it is not very secure. Pullet eggs would work fine, and it is too big for tiny eggs like quail eggs.I would not buy this if all you have are chicken eggs, unless maybe you want to serve a dessert in it (it holds just under 4 ounces at the rim - 1/3 cup if you don't want to spill it when you walk.I would be very interested to hear from someone who tries duck eggs with this product.

Simple, and easy to clean.
It works just fine. I believe the 'two-egg' (keep-warm) capacity is not really there - it is not likely you will have an egg small enough to fit under the larger cup while you eat another - perched in the smaller cup. But the smaller cup is perfect for one egg and the larger cup (sans egg) makes a good base. I suppose if one had a truly huge egg (what bird that might be I'm not sure) the larger cup would become useful - as the pictured position suggests. I only eat one egg per meal anyway, and always use an inverted position compared to the picture.

Just as described!
A little larger than other egg cups we've purchased - & just what we were looking for.

Too large
Too large for regular chicken eggs and be aware that it says double but I guess it’s about the size as it only comes one unit.

This is the one you want!
If you're looking for an egg cup, this one is PERFECT! The upper part (the small end) holds the egg you're eating, and the lower part (the wider end) is the right size to cover a second egg and keep it warm until you finish the first. Classic traditional style, the perfect blend of form and function.
