I bought 4 of the little drones for Easter (no remote control arrived with them): 3 for kids ages 4,6 and 9, and one for myself. The kids and their parents have chased the quad-copters happily, and I took mine to my work place (accounting department). Most of my co-workers cheered when I escorted the mini drone to their offices. Dull moments were gone! On May 3rd, for a Cinco de Mayo celebration, after eating we played with the helicopter again. Subsequently, three of my friends and co-workers also purchased 1 or 2 mini drones each. We all are serious adults, but sometimes 5 minutes of fun is really helps.

Ideal for my (almost) five year old grandson. Safe for indoors. Easy to launch. No remote needed, responds by object avoiding sensors. Smaller than I thought it would be. Charge lasts about five minutes. Very durable. Would recommend it for indoor use by beginner drone 'pilots'.

This exceeded my expectations. It operates just as described. Fun for small children, teens and adults!

It's very light and has some fun colorful lights blinking when turned on. The ON/OFF button is a bit tricky to find since it's so small, but the instructions really help! It was a bit hard to control at first, but learned quickly how it functions. It's very safe for kids as the plastic blades are spinning inside a cage and don't get in contact with your hand.

I bought this item for a birthday present. I wasn't really sure how well it would work, so i decided to test it out before wrapping the gift. I was impressed with how well the drone responded and it was so easy to use. In fact, it was so much fun I bought another one for me and my kid to play with.

This was a fun toy while it lasted. If you want this to last longer than 24 hours, don't take it outside. It flew right into our green colored house, not stopping like it does the inside walls. Snapped the plastic on the cage but it still functioned on day 2 despite the broken pieces. Then 2 minutes into playing with it, it stopped and fell to the ground. It was fully charged so it wasn't dead yet (charge will only last about 5 minutes!!). Now the one propeller doesn't spin, it won't fly after moving hand and it's just an overpriced, disappointing toy that my son was able to play with for a total of 20 minutes. It's not durable, not tough collision resistance, not sturdy and does not resist damage.

It appears that this device is sold two different ways. One way does not include the little yellow "remote" shown in the Amazon picture. The second way comes with the yellow "remote". If you have the remote, you can turn on the power switch on the drone to get the green or blue LED lit, place it on the floor and direct the clear LED on the "remote" at the drone and press the remote button to start the propellers. If your drone did not come with this remote, turn on the power switch to light either the green (slower speed) LED of blue (faster speed) LED, hold it level in your extended hand and then just toss it lightly into the air. The motor will automatically start and the drone will fly. Note that you can do the same thing with the drone that came with the "remote" The included instructions do not mention the "remote" or tossing the drone into the air once the LED is lit to get the propellers to turn. The video file in the Amazon ad shows the toss into the air launch but does not tell you that the propellers turn on after you toss it. I hope this saves a lot of headaches and needless returns of product.

My grandson absolutely loved it!!!! It arrived quickly and fully charged so he played with it right away! Ordered one for my other grandson as well, he should be expecting his soon. Thank you!!!!

With only 2 sensors around to outside edge it’s hard to get it to respond to your hands when it’s not spinning all the time. Only spins when it 1st starts up until it senses something and will change direction but because it’s not spinning hard for the other person to get their in the right spot to send it back to the other person

Looks ok, bought as a gift so I can't rate it for operation (I have another brand of one from Costco). BEWARE, I bought it as it said 5 high precision sensors (this will help out from running into walls), BUT IT ONLY HAS 3, and it was confirmed by seller. False advertising, paid way to much for a lesser product and can't return as it was gifted

bought as gifts, 9 yr olds love them. not sure about battery life on full charge as kids would only let it charge for about 10 minutes. lightweight and easy to fly indoors

Sorry but this product was not a great product it kept crashing or going way too far and then it wouldn’t come back
