Best thing for horses that are difficult to give meds to!
I have a horse that is difficult to work and give oral meds to. He is 17 hh tall big boy who is yanks his head high up and absolutely refuses to allow access to his mouth. This is the only thing that ever worked to get meds into him. It works for regular size worming syringes and comes with it's own XXL large syringe that can be used for mixing your own meds into a paste and getting it in there (I used apple sauce with the crushed pills). Every vet I have showed this to wondered why he did not invent it.

Very EASY to use!!
A friend showed me this item, I can’t say enough about how glad I was to learn about it. For whatever reason my mare miraculously turns into a giraffe and ‘very picky eater’ when it comes to any kind of supplements. This product makes delivery much easier, she takes it just like a bit and no fighting. The worming paste goes right where it’s supposed to, no spitting it out. SO HELPFUL, totally recommend if your horse also transforms into a giraffe when it’s time to worm.

... dredge bit for wormers and other paste/liquid medications works fantastic! No more fighting and chasing my horse around ...
This dredge bit for wormers and other paste/liquid medications works fantastic! No more fighting and chasing my horse around the stall. However, the only downfall is the length of the nylon strapping that creates the halter. I have a draft cross with a huge head and at it's largest this only fits over one of his ears. I will buy my own longer strapping to use with the bit. If you have a draft, draft cross or large warmblood be prepared for this. Easy to use and easy to clean. Would have been five starts if not for the size issue.

THE BEST IDEA!!
Why didn't I think of this ??? It completely solved my battle getting the dreaded Bute, Banamine or Antibiotics down the throat of my Giraffe TW mare and my obstinate BIG QT gelding. The headstall is simple to put on and size. They are caught off guard because they think we are tacking up for a ride and then I push in some apple sauce into the opening on the bit.........YUM.......then I syringe in the meds and then a little more apple sauce. There ya go! Easy peasy. No more spitting it out in my face and having to waste medications. Life with my horses and donkeys just got a whole lot easier!!

Good enough
most dewormers wouldn't fit in the bit. Buttt having it loose keeps my hard to deworm horse busy enough to get the dewormer in and out. Its a good distraction.

If only the tube were 1/8" larger so wormer would FIT in it.
Why can't the side tube be 1/8" larger so a tube of wormer would actually fit IN the bit? As it is, you put it on. Squirt the wormer into the bit, where a tiny amount will squirt onto the tongue, letting the horse know it's coming. Then you maneuver the attached but plunger I it the hole, which is designed to be tight (so it gets all the medicine, good) and it's hard to get started if the horse isn't holding still. Then you use the attached plunger to actually push it into the mouth. This means it takes forever to actually get the wormer in, giving the horse plenty of time to know its coming and toss the head in the air again. It's a great concept, and if the tube was a little larger so a wormer would fit, I'd give it 5 stars. Yet the extreme time it takes makes it really not a help to me. Very sad, I really needed this for the one horse in the herb who is hard to worm.

Works well
Perfect for the horse that refuses medicine.

Only use it for wormer, or like paste.
I needed it for a douse syringe, but the material you need to use has to be a paste.
