It works, and you will too
I had rented a similar unit a few years before purchasing so I knew what I was getting into. The equipment make is appropriate to duty, anything to make it more robust would add to the weight and nobody wants that. It works as you would expect and performs equal to a standard pressure washer wand with a given nozzle. There's many complaints about controlling it, but that's all up to the operator. I am a 42 year old 5'6" male, 200lbs, stockier than most, but it's natural, I don't work out. But I started working on farms when I was 10, I'm not afraid of work, and temporary pain or discomfort don't prevent me from finishing a job. If you're a city kid who doesn't know what manual labor is, a millennial, or just somebody who is averse to working to save some money, don't purchase. My pressure washer is 2800 psi. I used a 15 deg nozzle on the end. At full extension it's a handful. You have to use your head and understand a few things. First, when you pull the trigger the water exiting the nozzle is going to force it back, if you fight it or start trying to control it too soon it's going to whip around. Hold it firm, let it kick and then it will settle. The jet force that is pushing the wand back will increase the closer the nozzle gets to the object being washed. Trying to force it too close and it will kick back, making the jet force decrease, which makes it go back towards the object, which increases the jet force and makes it kick back. Rinse, lather, repeat. If that's happening you're trying to get the nozzle too close. Back away or switch to a larger angle nozzle to decrease the jet force. Second, balancing a stick straight in the air is easy, you only hold the weight. When you tilt a stick you introduce a moment force that makes it feel heavier. The further you tilt it the heavier it will feel. This wand is the same, both when you initially position it, and as you operate it. If you're smart, you can find a balance point/angle/distance that makes the jet force kicking back balance the moment force trying to swing it down. Then you only hold the weight, which is still tiring, but manageable. But what all of that means is that you really don't have a wide range of motion with it before it becomes too heavy or uncontrollable. You can only work about a 2' square before either needing to step over or bringing the wand down and changing the length. This adds time to the job. Just set your expectations. It will not operate like the small wand that comes with the washer. Also, to help your decision - it's difficult to see exactly where the nozzle is washing. The angle that I found to hold it at put me semi close to my house. Often the sun would be in my eyes as I'm looking up 2+ stories, also I wear glasses which is impossible as a good amount of the water is raining on you. Somebody else might have a better experience in this regard.

Works as intended (with some caveats).
Purchased it to power wash my house's sidings. Works as intended. The product seems sturdy and well made. Time will tell if it will last. As some reviewers have pointed out, it is quite heavy and hard to control. The problem is not just the weight. When fully extended, just one small movement on the trigger handle can make the tip oscillates like crazy, making it hard to point it to the right direction. Definitely requires some practice. To me, it is more like a two-people job. A bit of a struggle to go at it alone. I agree with some reviewers' complaints about how difficult it is to switch the fittings. My hose is M22 so I have to remove the Quick-Connect and switch it with the M22 fitting (included). Even with the right tools it was hard to do. It's awfully tight! If you don't feel like doing the work, you can buy a Female M22 x 3/8" Male Quick-Connect Connector. That's what I did. Got it for less than $6, slip it right in and voila, I can attach my M22 hose. Also pay attention to the M22 size. Just because your hose is M22 does not mean it will fit. I use Sun Joe SPX3000. Even though Sun Joe's hose is also M22, it does not fit to the included M22 fitting. I learned after the fact that M22 comes in two different sizes: 14mm and 15mm. My solution: I replaced the hose with Simpson extension hose. It takes both 14mm and 15mm, so no more hassle. Hope this info saves you time in case you are in the same predicament as I was.

GET A HARNESS IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR PROJECT
You must get a stabilizer belt/harness it should have come with the item because it is a extremely tiring struggle if you don’t have the harness/belt,the weight and the water pressure combined with holding that thing up extended 20ft takes a little getting use to it,would have given five stars if it came with the harness and hardware to attach it to the wand,it should be supplied with every extension wand of this type,it can be dangerous without that harness especially when your pushing 3000psi but it is a good product and it does a great job once you get use to it,just take your time and it’s a lot safer and easier than using a pressure washer on a dang ladder

It's a workout but worth it
Purchased this in 2019 so here is my hands on over time review. For the record I am 72 years young. Like others have said it can be a workout but once you use it for a while you figure out the best way to handle it. I had ignored my gutters for a year and I am surrounded by pines and oaks. Needless to say it was pretty compacted. After getting through that I no longer ignore them since this makes it easy, so to speak to do. i use it with a HF pressure washer. Tips: 1: Wear safety glasses and a hat as leaf and water blowback will get to you sooner or later and you will get wet. 2: Some may prefer to get a harness to help offset the weight. 3: I use this with the addition of one of those 2 direction gutter attachments that work well for this job. Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/RIDGE-WASHER-Attachment-Pressure-Disconnect/dp/B0892BP85F/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2ZJD28IY6QLTA&keywords=gutter+cleaner+attachment&qid=1663167249&sprefix=gutter+cleaner+attachment%2Caps%2C246&sr=8-4 4: A trick is using hydraulic principles to speed things up. Turn on the pressure and let it fill the gutter for a bit then rapidly trigger the wand on and off. The short blasts will use the water volume as a battering ram and blow stuck junk out of the gutter. 5: You will leave a mess on the outside of the gutters. Remove the gutter attachment and plug in one of the nozzles that came with you washer. Easy blast that stuff right off. 6: While it is hooked up I have used it to blast away the crud that winds up on the driveway and deck. FWIW the washer itself does a better and faster job of blowing leaves off the driveway than the usual air blower. Also for blowing junk out of shrubbery. 7: As noted elsewhere it is good for house cleaning on tall sections. Have fun and stay dry. For those that complain about it getting away from them> IF you use the curved piece and a single nozzle, YES it will beat you up. The single nozzle works for the down spouts but you want to kind of hang it with some down pressure on the edge of the gutter. IF you want to clean the gutters and have control get the attachment mentioned earlier in this review. No stress with it.

Hard to Keep It Up if your 63!
I’m 63. 2 hours of this and I was completely exhausted. Didn’t clean up high as well as I had hoped nor as well as my short standard wand did on the bottom siding. I bought the sling too. Couldn’t have done without it but I ended up clamping the wand to my over the shoulder strap. It was pretty useless clipping it on the belt. What they say is true. You must be on the ground to use this wand. At full extension it is very difficult to keep the spray where you want it. I was petrified to use it on the side of the house where the electric comes in. I wore rubber gloves and boots! The good part of it is this wand is very well made and I saved $80 by buying it on Amazon instead of my local Lowe’s.

Works great
Easy to use? Well yes actually it is obviously simple, though as many have stated at full extension it’s a hand full. There are some nuances that can help you though. If you’re seriously fighting this, try different angles and this might seem obvious but keep it as vertical as possible, you might get a little more water on you but you’ll work a lot less. It does have a bit of recoil at far extensions but if you angle the tip correctly it actually will help you , start high at the peak of your gables and work down the edge, using the recoil in the correct direction will help hold the tip up as well as help steady it. I find resting the base on the front of my hip really helps, but if you do make sure it’s resting the handle on your hip and not where the hose enters the tube, I think over a small amount of time you’ll damage the hose on the edge of the tube. This came with several additional fittings, the only 1 I used was the male quick connect as I already have quick connects on my power washer. It did not come with any tip jets but most likely your power washer did, so for me this was just fine, price was great and not having tips I don’t need I’m sure contributed to that. I constantly am making adjustments to the angle and length when using due to the gables and the greenery around my house so for me I think a harness would be an obstacle, if you don’t have to do that it probably would be helpful. It’s hard work but I think way less than lugging a heavy ladder and climbing up and down.

Did the job! Easy to use.
My biggest concerns when purchasing this were the multiple reviews on how difficult it was to use. However, I found it fairly easy to use when fully extended and without a harness or belt. It was easy to adjust while working, and I was able to easily reach and wash my two story house on a basement. The general construction of the wand was good and it was easy to connect to my pressure washer. I used a Honda 2700 PSI gas pressure washer with it. Things I didn't like as much: The wand was fairly wobbly when fully extended so it was a little tricky to maneuver, and the hose did get caught a few times while adjusting the length. I would also suggest that the manufacturer allow the customer to attach their own fittings. I had to swap one of the installed fittings with another that was supplied with the wand, and it was anything but easy. Overall, it worked very well and I'm pleased with the purchase. It was definitely faster, easier, and safer than the last time I cleaned my house using a ladder.

Sun Joe and some other job standard pressure washers will need an adapter link is in review.
Great product. If u have a sun Joe or some other electric pressure washers read this review. Most standard pressure washer wands are 14mm which this wand is but the sun Joe and some others are 15mm wands. Ubwi need this part to connect them. Mingle Pressure Washer Coupler,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FZ94HPX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share After that and some Teflon tape it worked great. It is very hard work and u will be sore after using this for an hour or more but the results are worth it. It gets very tiring keeping the trigger pulled so I used a 6 inch or so piece of Velcro and velcroed the trigger down and thus makes it much easier to handle for a long period of time. It works great and will do the job and beats standing in a ladder with a pressure washer strapped to ur back! And it's much safer. Highly recommend it for two story homes or 1 story with steep grade and basement like my house.

Review of AR Clean 18 foot Telescoping Lance
The lance is high quality and works well but I had a few problems with it. Firstly I could not unscrew the 3/8” quick connect male nipple at in-let of the lance. I needed to change the nipple to connect the lance to my Karcher pressure washer. I sent an e-mail to the manufacture, because the entire assembly unscrewed from the interior of the pistol of the lance. I got a reply back to contact Alex Jannatpour of customer service, A.R. North America Inc. I contacted him and he gave me 5 star service. He was very helpful. After talking with him, the problem was some type of adhesive had been used on the threads of the nipple. This part (quick connect 3/8” male nipple) is supposed to be removable, if needed. Alex told me, I needed to heat up the male nipple and then try unscrewing it and if this did not work I would have to send back the lance. I put the entire assembly in boiling water for 15 minutes and quickly put the assembly in a vice and tried unscrewing the nipple using a socket wrench. After considerable force, I was able to unscrew it. The male nipple should not have adhesive applied to the threads since this part is supposed to be changeable by the user. Teflon tape should be used on nipple threads. The next problem was, I could not fully extend the lance 18 feet. I finally figured out the problem was the black cable ties used to hold the black hose during shipping needed to be removed. This information (remove cable ties before using lance) should be in the instructions sent with the lance. The next problem is when the lance is extended 12 feet or more it is difficult for 1 person to control. You really need the lance hardness/belt which is available on Amazon.ca. But it is not easy to find. If you do not order the hardness/belt, you will need 2 people to use the lance. I will order the hardness/belt next year. Lastly, you need to order the ¼”quick connect nozzles with the lance. The lance itself does not have any nozzles. The ¼”nozzles are available on amazon.ca and color coded to suit a specific cleaning application.
