NewPhase Complete Menopausal Support Caplets, 30-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)

This product is awesome. After seeing 3 Gynecologists and 1 specialist and spending well over $1k on various treatments I was astonished to see this product eliminate most of my symptoms within a week! I was put on birth control pills to handle perimenause symptoms until I turned 52 when my doctor refused to renew my prescription. The BC pills worked great but she said they cause blood clots in 50+ women. I immediately started having major mood swings, weight gain and severe hot flashes. I tried synthetic hormones but the symptoms continued and progressively got worse. Another Gynecologist added anti depression meds to the mix, which just made me sleepy on top of my other symptoms. I decided to try Bio-identical Hormones. The doctor told me everything I wanted to hear so I signed up for tons of tests, started on the bio-identical creams, spending well over $1k in a couple of months only to find they made no improvement after 3 months of trying them and even added one more symptom of adult acne to the mix! I was extremely depressed at this point. I cried a lot and avoided social activities. I finally went to Amazon and researched all of the products and reviews and picked New Phase as my next thing to try. Within 1 week my hot flashes were gone and I could sleep! This was huge as I was having them about every 2 hours and waking up several times a night. I've been on them only 2 weeks and I am sleeping better, feeling better, hot flash free and finally able to lose some weight. If you are struggling with hot flashes, mood swings and waking up all night long try this - it certainly can't hurt!4/19/13 I had to come back and add a note that after 14 months on New Phase my hot flashes are starting to come back. I am so thankful for the last 14 months of feeling normal but it looks like I'll have to wean off these and try something else. My plan is to come back after a few months and try them again in hopes the break was all I needed. I still recommend these highly and hope to be able to use them again.

I have had low estrogen for years. I still haven't done the menopause thing but my doctor has said I am "peri-menopausal" for at least 10 years. I have dealt with PMS, night sweats and various other symptoms over the years but the one that has brought me to my knees is the dang anxiety. For the past four years it has been awful! I didn't realize it was cycle related until I was doing some research on line. I found several lists of symptoms of low estrogen and I think I'm the poster child! Well, my research pointed me in the direction of Black Cohosh. I tried it for a little over a month and was dismayed at a five pound weight gain that seemed to land right on my tummy. I am a very fit 50, I exercise and eat right so that five pounds was a pretty big deal to me. I switched over to NewPhase and within 2 weeks the tummy was back to normal, yay! I have been on NewPhase for about a month now. The anxiety is better, not totally gone but a big improvement. I am very hopeful that the blend of herbs in NewPhase will be a good balance for me and so far so good! I will update my review when the second package is gone. I'm giving it four stars for now, hopefully I will be able to up it to 5!UPDATE: Well, my two months are up and and I am giving up on this product. The anxiety is way better but there are side affects and it's just not worth it. I am now having acne for the first time in my life! It started out fairly mild but holy mackeral it is now out of control. Using acne medications help but dry my skin out terribly. The other problem is that the girls are unbearably sore for a week to two weeks out of the month. It's so bad it hurts when I walk and if they accidentally get bumped, Yowwie! If the anxiety was completely gone I might man up and stick with it but I just can't do it. The search continues...

I have used this product for around 10 years, started out with the original NewPhase, then the Extra Strength and now the complete. In the beginning I was able to find the original in Publix, Walmart, Drug Store, etc. and then over the years it was harder to find. I was delighted to locate it on Amazon and I love the auto delivery option.Now to my physical reason for using this in the first place. After having a Hysterectomy in 2001 I was put on HRT and was to stay on them for my lifetime. But I didn't like the findings of long term risk with taking HRT's, so around 2003 I decided to go the natural way.I suffered from fibrocystic breast all my adult life before and after my Hysterectomy and always had to have sonograms with my mammograms and sometimes aspersions and biopsies. However within 3 months of starting NewPhase I saw improvement in many areas of my body, more so with breast pain and lumps, but also with night sweats and mood. My doctor was amazed at the gradual improvement of breast lumps and within 4 years almost all were gone along with the density of my mammograms.If I quit taking this after a few weeks I also see a negative change in breast pain and moodiness.There is nothing negative I can see about this product and after 10 years of use I can only say positive things about it. I have recommended this for several family and friends with the same results for them.. Some have been Para Menopausal, others Pre Menopausal and then some in their early 30's, as I stated it works.

My friend recommended this product for me as it works great for her! I can honestly say I gave it a good try over 5-6 months. It didn't work for me.However, everyone's body is different and it may work well for others as it does my friend.Definitely try it (takes about 6 weeks to really get into your system), don't expect results overnight.If this works for you, it is way better and safer than an RX drug.I prefer natural methods (if possible), this is a good one. Only natural ingredients.
