Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Siege Deluxe Class WFC-S9 Autobot Hound Action Figure

It's been a while since I bought anything from the current era of 'Generations' figures, but since I've decided to start work on a series of pre-war Transformers stop motions, I decided to check out the current siege line, with Hound being the first I purchased. I was far from disappointed, in fact I'd had the most fun with a new figure for a while. The proportions, paint scheme and mould detailing are excellent, the robot mode is well articulated and the transformation is fun and not frustrating in the slightest. The only negative is that the arms are somewhat visible in vehicle mode, other than that five out of five.

Just received my copy from this seller and there was no issue other than the joints been really solid but thats ideal if you are a collector looking to pose this guy in all his glory. Hound has been faithfully recreated here and he is stunning and surprising smaller than you may expect, however that won't ruin the look with the rest of your deluxe line and he fits in really well. The paint damage is subtle but not in your face if you catch my meaning and by gosh the head sculpt is spot on superb! I won't gush anymore get this figure and see for yourself I highly recommend!

G1 design with amazing details!

Brilliant figure, great G1 homage. Good articulation and poseability. Vehicle mode could look a bit more Jeep-y.

Transformers Deluxe Hound is ever bit the picture of the character fans will be familiar with from the Generation 1 cartoons and comics. He stands approximately 5.5" tall, has an excellent degree of posability, is relatively intuitive to Transform, and comes with an alternate mode fit for the modern era as he becomes a military Hum-vee type 4x4 all terrain vehicle. The only complaint I have - and this has been a regular problem with most of Hasbro's recent releases - are that his accessories aren't quite right. He comes with his distinct shoulder launcher for example, but it lacks a missile meaning it doesn't look quite authentic. He does however also come with a pretty cool drum-fed machine gun that can be used in both robot and vehicle mode. whether this bothers you is likely to depend on whether you're one of the kids that this figure is actually aimed at, or a 40-somthing fan who was there the first time around like me!

Wow! What a great Hound figure this is. An absolute joy to look at in both robot and Cybertronian Jeep mode. It's very solidly built and is perhaps my favourite of seven Siege figures I currently own.
