Love it!
Love this game, we have played through this 2 times and are currently playing through it a third time! If you’re a fan of board game you should get this one!

So much fun, looking forward to the next one!
This game is soooooo much fun! It's a great introduction to Aeon's End for new players, and a nice structure for more experienced players. We didn't lose, but it was close a few times.

A complex game that's highly addictive
Trying not to go stir-crazy inside during a pandemic is hard enough. A few games we've bought to pass the time take forever to set up, have hard-to-learn rules or aren't optimal for just 2 players (especially if you're a fan of Legacy-style games, i.e. Pandemic or Betrayal). This is the opposite: super-fun and engaging with just 2 players, easy to follow as the storyline progresses & able to complete each chapter/round within 90 minutes or less. Since it's cooperative play only, it's practically perfect for competitive couples where one of you is a sore loser, but you both love playing board games and can't leave the house. You won't get into any fights playing this if one of you happens to a cutthroat board game player! Everyone wins, or everyone loses. There are gonna be enough people getting divorced after this pandemic as it is -- this cooperative game is ideal for couples hoping to avoid that :)

Shocked me
I bought this game to give Aeons End another shot. I bought the game originally when I was looking into snagging a few solo games to enjoy and a lot of people I talked to recommended Aeons End. I love deck builders so I thought I would instantly love it... and then I played it. I hated it. I thought the not shuffling of the deck wasn't interesting and didn't provide much additional strategy to separate the game from other deck builders in the same vein like Sentinels of the Multiverse to make it interesting. To date it is the only game I've sold out of my collection of roughly 200 and I have some real stinkers in there. It just let me down that much. After some time I wanted to give the series another shot and had been hearing that the legacy version, a mechanic I greatly enjoy, was a great way to get into the series, possibly the new go to rather than the base game. So I bought it and gave it a shot and I gotta admit I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Story it weaves makes it interesting and the slow introduction to the mechanics makes it very accessible. It made me regret selling my base game copy.

Legacy game!
I love legacy games but haven’t been able to find a lot with minimal setup time. Gloomhaven jaws of the lion is great but can feel inconsequential as you lose a scenario and just replay until you pass. This one when you lose it can change the game which makes it that much more thrilling. 2 games into the campaign and my wife and I love it.

Great start for anyone interested in Aeons End
This game is just fantastic. The story is very predictable, but the gameplay is phenomenal. Legacy introduces you to the aspects of the game slowly while giving you an opportunity to create an entire character on your own that is unique from any other Aeons End version. This is a great game to add to any board game collection. And the coop aspect of it makes it more of a team building and bonding experience unlike any competitive conventional "Family" board game.

Really fun Legacy game!
My best friend and I played this over a year and ROCKED it! So much fun. Neither of us had played regular Aeon's End before, so it was a new experience for both of us. I had to watch several videos to learn how to play the game, it was not easy to learn from the instructions. But I love board games and deck-building games and this checked all the boxes. It was worth the time to learn to play. We just finished it and I would totally recommend this game for anyone who likes Legacy games, board games, and/or deck-building games. Really great features and fun play-style. Great game!

Great intro to Aeon's End Strategy
Play this with my husband since our Christmas tradition now is to play a legacy game. I really enjoyed it. While I had already played the base game, I found that the way the legacy game was designed taught me new strategies. One advantage to Aeons End is that with each player having a unique deck it prevents one of the common pitfalls of cooperative gaming; when the bossy player tells all the other players what to do. I can say that because I'm the bossy player. This game has made me a better gamer by trusting ans respecting the decisions of the other players. As for a legacy version it had great story and hit some nice emotional notes. I loved it!
