I love that this item comes with multiple functions that can be used to expand the one drawback of the SP4 and even new SP6 which would be a lack of any ports aside from a MDP and USb 3.0. I especially require tons of extra disk space for programming and 3-d object storage. So this device was supposed to give me 2 additional micro SD drives and a standard SD slot along with 3 USB 3.0 and 1 HDMI port. Trouble is that while all these ports exist they cannot all be used at the same. time. For storage you can access one Micro and either the other micro or SD slot. It will not read all three at once (which shouldn't be a problem unless someone is attempting to use a RAID which would be.. silly). At first I thought it was a defect with mine, but then the replacement does the same thing. I haven't had 2 USB devices to use at one time yet, but I'm probably going to run into something similar unless they can both draw on the dp slot's power. I would rather sacrifice the HDMI port or the USB port for another micro slot. Too often now I am swapping between various card to access different content at one time and then disassembling it all to pack into a bag so it doesn't break off. I just know that sooner or later with all the swapping I'm going to lose a friggin card.
