Not even close to the advertised 300 watts!
I have several of this style of light from other vendors/manufacturers installed at my home. They range from 50 watts to 500 watts. All of these Chinese manufactured lights use some mythical rating system for what they sell and what you get as far as wattage. I have come to expect a 200 watt light to only draw 150watts 25% less than advertised. This light, however, goes well beyond that with almost a 50% "fudge" factor. You can see from the attached image it is currently running at 166 watts. It also runs rather warm at close to 150 degrees measured on the back center of the housing (the hottest spot). This vendor is probably hoping that most people won't have the tools, knowledge, or desire to check the lights actual performance. Well I do and SHAME on them!!! This needs to go back.

500 W. Returned to Amazon. Power used very low 244-348 Watts vs. 500W, so output likely very low.
Regarding the 500W Warm White 2800-3000k (mislabeled in one part of the listing as Warm White 6000-6500K),I measured the power consumption of mine at 348 Watts, then later 244 Watts (not 500 Watts) using my Kill-a-Watt meter. This suggests that the brightness is vastly lower advertised. I have installed four different models of LED floods (60, 100, and 150W) from different manufacturers. My dual 60 Watt floods (different brand, purchased separately) consume almost exactly the 60 Watts listed, and the 100 Watt LED consumes 101 Watts (nearly perfect).• This flickered about once per second. The flickering went away sometimes.• The cord is shorter than my other four floods, and does not come with a plug, but it's clear from the pictures that they don't include a plug.•The color is truly the warmer 2700-3000K, as advertised. I prefer not to have my outside floods at the 6000K ghostly blue end of the spectrum.

Programmable Planted Tank Light
The media could not be loaded. I was considering getting a new aquarium light for my planted tank. I wanted a full spectrum RGB light with ramp timer that is controllable via smart phone app. This was going to set me back at least a few hundred for a Micmol, ONF or Twinstar. Then, I found this light on amazon. I asked the vendor whether the lights were dimmable but got no response. Still, i took a chance on this since it's damn cheap. After receiving it, i hooked it up to a Leviton DW3HL-1BW Decora Smart Wi-Fi Plug-in Dimmer, No Hub Required, Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to be able to control the lights via smart phone app. Sure enough, the lights do dim.The build quality is solid and seems much better built than the other flimsy looking flood lights on the market. And, the light does get warm after 10 minutes but only gets warm never too hot to touch. The finish looks silverish in pics but it's actually matte gray. I actually prefer the matte finish. Pleasantly surprised. The leviton can ramp lights to full power in 25 seconds. This is a great feature for aquariums as the lights will not abruptly turn on and scare the little fishes (see vid).Lastly, this shipped from NJ. So, definitely no slow boat from china.

mounting bracket is very weak, and will only swing to mount on wall
We bought 2 of these, and both now have bent mounts. The light is flat and heavy. The single metal strap mounting bracket cannot handle it. It also will swing only at the rear , so it must be mounted to a vertical surface(wall). Very hard to mount to post. No instructions about what is "top" or what is "bottom". I assumed cord should come from bottom, but....

NOT IP67 (not waterproof)- Deceptive advertising!
The listing notes that the water resistant rating is IP67. This is a lie. When it arrived, the instructions that are included clearly states that it is IP65 and should not be immersed in water. There is no IP rating stamped on the actual fixture. For those who are unfamiliar with IP ratings they are as follows:IP65 – Water resistantIP66 – Water resistant against powerful jetsIP67 – Protected against complete temporary water submersionI had no choice due to my construction schedule( for needing the light installed) other than to install it, even though I don't have high hopes for a long life for it.The cord is very short, less than 18" which is very possibly an issue for many installations. It has china/UK wire colors: Brown, Blue, Yellow-Green.Brown is "hot", connects to Black in USA.Blue is "neutral", connects to White in USA.Yellow-Green is "ground", connects to Green/Ground in USA.The light color is a true warm white, close to a 2700 degree Kelvin appearance. The support bracket is barely strong enough to support the light, even though the light's quite lightweight. I'm sure it will wobble a bit in the wind.

Great lights, very bright and even, with a couple minor caveats.
I like these lights. I bought 4 total, and i am planning to distribute them around the perimeter of the house to light things up when needed. Very bright, nice warm light. I have one propped up in a window facing the back yard, and it is stunning how well it lights things up. I am satisfied with their performance. The face is frosted plastic, the entire assembly is about 9.5 X 14 inches and about an inch and a half thick with 36 groups of lights in a 4 X 9 matrix and ribs on the back for heat sinking. As with anything, there are some downsides to these lights. One thing is that they are marketed as 200w but they actually have somewhere around a 150 watt draw. So I'm kind of curious what the 150s actually draw. This is not an isolated situation, because I ordered these in 2 different groups and they all draw about the same current.Another thing is that the cord is absurdly short, and may make it difficult to attach to a J-box. I'm guessing it's probably 18 inches long.
