These little bands are perfect for tying the hair out of the eyes of small dogs. They are very durable, stretchy, and the colors are fun. I tend to wrap it around the hair on my chinese crested 3 times, and despite stretching them really hard I have yet to have one break on me. If you're looking for something fun and affordable to pull your dogs hair back, this is it! Be careful when removing- as with any rubber band like this, they can snag hair and cause breakage if you don't use and remove them properly.

We use these at my grooming shop to put bows in dogs' ears. We are happy with them.

Exactly what I wanted -

These bands were to be used to tie bows. Very thin. Even for braces on your teeth, they wouldn’t hold much back! I find they would have to be wound 3-5 time around hair to get them nice and tight.

I am sure these bands are fine if your pet doesn’t have latex allergies; however, if you or your pet is allergic, stay clear.I selected these bands over others since they are advertised as: (1) latex-free; and (2) available through Amazon Prime (I'm close to out of grooming bands and place my shih-tzu's hair in a top-knot every morning).My shih-tzu breaks out in welts around his eyes if I use latex bands; I get minor hives. The bands I received were not latex-free. The back of the item clearly indicates: "LATEX WARNING: Warning: This product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions to patients with latex sensitivity, if irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult your physician." (see, photos)I contacted the seller about this, indicating, "I am thinking that I was shipped the wrong item because of this [that the bands were not latex-free]…Both my dog and I have latex allergies. I would like assistance with returning the item I received and replacing it with the correct latex-free item. Thank you." The response I received was: "Log in to your amazon account, check your orders and request a return of your order." Obviously this does not indicate if I was shipped the wrong item, and it is not helpful with replacing the item with a latex-free version. Considering the response was “process a return through Amazon, k. thx. bye,” rather than, “Whoops. You were indeed sent the wrong thing. Please allow us to fix this problem,” I am more inclined to believe these are not actually latex-free grooming bands.As they requested, I have processed a return and will be returning these grooming bands; I certainly will not have my dog breaking out. I have also already ordered other grooming bands from another Amazon supplier who is specific about the latex-free nature of their bands. However, considering the information listed about these bands is clearly inaccurate, and considering the severity that latex-allergies can present in animals that are allergic (trust me, swollen eyes on sweet and sensitive little dogs does not make for fun times or vet visits), I am making this review so other shoppers have notice before they purchase these.

These arrived as a bag of orthodontic bands in the “Bald Eagle” category (medium stretch, 1/4 inch or 6.4mm). They are PERFECT for gently leg banding just-hatched chicken chicks. The 1/4 inch size (or larger) is ideal and medium or light weight is what you want. (We tried a heavy duty 3/16 inch 4.8 mm Tortoise orthodontic band and it was WAY too tight on a chick 30 minutes old.)Colors in the pack were hot pink, neon orange, electric green and purple.Get these if you need to safely leg band hatchlings!

When I ordered these, I didn't measure against the bands I had. My bad, I thought I would never use them. Then someone accidently cut the hair around my two Biewer Terriers eyes- UGHHH!! I remembered that I had these!!* I use them to keep the shorter hairs in between their eyes OUT of the eyes!! WORKS GREAT!! My younger boy's hair has almost grown out now, but my older female's hasn't. So I'll keep using them as long as I need to. *I also gave some to my groomer so she could use them on other dogs. (BTW, my groomer thought it was overkill at first and then she realized the dogs were happier and healthier wo hair in their eyes so she's all for doing this now!!)I would post a picture, but not sure exactly how.

They stretch nicely and stay snugly in purchase. I haven't had one break yet. I like the colors. Overall happy with my purchace.

The first time I bought these was back in 2014, I had a moderately big gap between my front teeth (3.5mm+) back then. They worked really well, closed the gap in a month. If you're planning to use them for the same purpose, my advice to you is to not give up. The first week it'll hurt while eating but after that it's smooth sailing. I've started noticing real changes on the 20th day and by the end of the first month the gap was gone, note that I wore them 24/7. Now, as other reviewers said, it' will create gaps on the side of your teeth, which depending on your teeth might be noticable or not. Mine are very small. Also, you have to keep wearing them in order for the gap to stay closed, because our teeth are constantly on the move. Nowadays I only wear them at night and my teeth are perfectly fine. Quality wise they're heavy duty, a while back when I was on my last ten bands, I used to wear a single band for months, and it would still retain its form. Highly recommended.

These are great and one band can be continually taken out and reused on the dogs top knot till a fresh one needed...

I bought these to put my dogs hair into a top knot. She has very silky hair and I needed something that would not break or snap her hair. These are ideal. They just slide out with no damage done. They are very small but do the job perfectly. I have not had one break and have used some a number of times x

These were smaller than I had liked so didn’t really use them for my Afghan hound, better used to Yorkshire terriers toy dogs
