I bought this watch a little over a month ago and was very excited about the appearance and apparent durability. The reviews I read were pretty good in general, so I thought I would give this watch a try. I specifically bought this watch because the ad said it was water resistant up to 164ft. I wore this watch about six times just swimming laps and word in the shower a handful of other times. Unfortunately the watch is not water resistant and unable to withstand showering and assuming. I would not recommend buying this watch if you intend to get it wet.

*I haven’t truly water tested it yet, only in the shower*Got the watch today, pleasantly surprised. It’s big but not bulky. Fits my wrist well, which is an average size wrist. The band seems sturdy, and appears to be rather breathable.Set up instructions are included with this. They’re not great, the translation is poor, but they’re easy to follow. The watch switches between functions easily enough. The face is bright enough to see in the sun, and the backlight makes it very bright in the dark.I’ll update this as the week progresses. I work as a maintenance worker for a sewer and waterline operation, so it will be tested pretty thoroughly this week.

People ask me constantly what the ticks around the face are for (I actually asked the seller that and their answer was pretty much "I don't know").Either way, I've been using it for several months now and it's a good cheap watch. I bathe with it, run with it, and swim with it. It's working fine and is well worth the money.

It’s a $10 watch. I get that it will be no frills and basic. I don’t mind that, but I do expect it to work longer than a month. Dead on day 31. Amazon refunded me. It was worth a shot but I’ll now just spend the extra $12 and get an armitron in the same style that I know will work for years. Sometimes you can find an inexpensive AND good product. This was not one of those times.

Its a very good looking watch and the red and black color is def a win. It is a thick watch but it looks good and feels comfortable. My only complaint is that the time is shown in grey and is hard to see sometimes. Most of the time, its fine. Theres a lot of functions... timer, stopwatch, alarm (w snooze), dual time, and the date. Ive used it in the shower and it had no problem. However i do not know how it would fare in a pool.

My son works at a waterpark, he wears it everyday in extreme heat and is constantly getting his watch wet and submerging it. It works perfectly, it has a stop watch, the wrist band is not a cheap, flimsy, or rough plastic, its smooth and allows water to flow thru- so its not like a canvas band that holds water or sweat. It is a great watch.

Watch is too dark during day and at night. I put in a new battery thinking maybe that wa the problem. Not so. Watch went into a drawer as a "extra" very disappointed. I ordered a different watch.

Yeah, you get what you pay for is right. While the watch isn't horrible. The display picture they use is very misleading. The numbers are hard to see. They aren't blue, unless you push the light, then its not as blue as the picture shows. It doesn't last long either. Avoid if you have issues with your eyes.
