Very good
I loves these having a autistic son hair cuts was anit of a nightmare so with these it took the sound away which he didn’t like so now with no sound and all the different lengths and much safer when using scissors as there is no pointy sharp parts quality is nice and solid. Is it expensive YES is it worth it YES

Amazing product
I Absolutely love this product because my son does not like noises and hairs on his body. We cut his hair Yesterday and we pretended to be like we were in the barbers, and it says in the booklet to count to 10, but we did like 5 or 6 And we had no crying and no buzz cut . absolutely amazing Product.

Good product, would recommend
Really innovative idea. Nothing at all wrong with the product but takes a while to get used to it. Watched video demo which made it look so easy but with a fidgety child a lot more difficult than I expected. My little man has Down's and severe Autism. He has got use to me cutting his hair with scissors in the bath (little bit each day) over a few days. When he saw the blue attachment on the clipper he immediately became suspicious and reluctant to keep still. Took two attempts over 2 days to cut his hair , finishing off with normal scissors for top and behind ears. Looks neater than just scissors. I think it will be easier and will have better results when little man (and I) get used to the Calming Clippers. Need to remember to put your fingers in the opposite side of holes than you would normally hold scissors. Thumb at bottom and finger/s at top. cut upwards against the direction of hair growth. Buy and try!

His main issues being he doesn't like the sound of a clipper
I purchased a calming clipper for my 3 and a half year old son. Who hates having his haircut. His main issues being he doesn't like the sound of a clipper, having his hair touched or hair falling on his skin. We tested it out for the first time today. He seemed very excited that this was his own special pair of scissors. I found it helped by giving my son the hairdryer to hold so he could blow the loose hair away from his face or body while I attempted to cut his hair. We had to stop quite a few times because he became a little distressed. But I definitely felt alot more confident using the calming clippers than ordinary scissors. He seemed alot more calmer and the whole situation was alot less stressful for both of us. I found them very easy to use. The free Cape is also a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing!
I have just finished cutting my son's hair for the first time using the Calming Clippers and I can't believe how user friendly and easy it was.Our 9 year old boy grew petrified of having his hair cut at the barbers- whether it was with the machine or the scissors. The whole event was becoming traumatic for him. As he is pre verbal autistic he expressed his upset through hitting himself, screaming and lashing out at others.BUT NOT TODAY!!!!! Calming Clippers- this is some kind of wizardry. I can't thank you enough. Amazing product. And then I watched your video on how the product is made and oh my goodness- I am so moved. Thank you!Dervla,A very happy mother!!

I was recommended these scissors and they work wonderfully
My 5-year old son has autism and hair cuts are so hard on him (trimmers). It's extremely stressful for all parties involved. I was recommended these scissors and they work wonderfully. It took me 5 minutes to get used to them and figure out the direction. My plan was to "pre-cut" my son a few days before our hairdresser visited us. The pre-cutting went just fine. 20 minutes work and my long-haired boy looked more than decent. Obviosly it wasn't a brilliant hair cut since it was my first attempt ever. 2 days later the hairdresser came to our house. Since I did the pre-cutting, she was able to finish off the work and "polish the details" in 10-15 minutes with a comb and scissors. No trimming. And no long hair falling on his face. It was a huge success. He looks so handsome and he is very proud. Admitted - the scissors could be sharper - but I'm more than satisfied! Actually, I'm so relieved and grateful. (And could he have worked around with just my own pre-cut attempt and no expert-finish? Yes! Definitely.)By the way - shipping to Denmark: 3 days. Well done!

Nice Idea but they don't work.
As a barber, my usual tool of choice is a set of clippers as well as scissors. However, there are some parents who insist on me using scissors only to cut their little "poppet's" hair. I'd seen these advertised and thought I'd give them a go.I have to say that these are useless. I'm right handed and the clipper guard is on the wrong blade. With a normal cutting action (where the thumb is used to move the cutting blade) the guard moves up & down. I found it impossible to get a decent cut through sections of hair.
