It gives good close shaves, good quality for the price and it's made in India which is better than China I suppose, overall it's a exceptional shavette for a decent price, after all a shavette is a good as the person who wield's it so i recommend you have some practice.

This shavette was nice to start with but I did a little modification. I stained and clear coated the wood, it’s even better now! A couple of reviews said something about the hing being flimsy not staying open but all you have to do is tap on the rivet with a hammer gently and it tightens it back up. After the modification it’s got to be one of my favorite shaving items, definitely the best looking one!

I have a friend cut my hair, however I like the back of my head, above the nape of my neck shaved like at the barber shop. So I purchased this barber's razor and it works great. Replacement blades are very inexpensive. This barber's razor will last a long time, it seems well made and works well.

Works great, love it for the price! It holds the razor well and has enough weight to comfortably keep it steady, without being so heavy it weighs down your hand and strains your muscles. My only problem with it is that the wood on the handle is a tad cheap, and splintered a bit in transit as a result. But a touch of sanding fixed that up pretty good. Other than that it looks and feels great.

I got this recently to try it out. The first few shaves were painful bloody affairs. That was until I ran out of the included blades. I then switched to my preferred blades (lord classics) that it began to feel good. Granted part of that is certainly because of practice, but certainly the better baldes helped. If you already have a preferred brand of double edged safety razors, use those instead of the included ones.

The razor is ok but the wood scales are not. They're not made from regular hard wood, they're very light, brittle, and have a lot of little open cracks in them out of the box. The weight makes the razor seem very unbalanced. I broke mine because the rivet was so tight it made the razor hard to open/close and impossible to manipulate with one hand. With just the slightest bit of sideways pressure to try to loosen up the rivet the scales snapped into pieces. I didn't rate lower than 3 because the razor was decent, cheap, and the scales breaking was partially my fault, but I definitely wouldnt buy the Parker wood scales.

Jai commandé cette article pour mon travail et j'en suis satisfaite. Je suis coiffeuse Barbier pour information donc je l'utilise régulièrement. Il est tres léger, la lame se change facilement et il est facile a nettoyer. Je recommande.

Il miglior shavette che abbia avuto. Uso shavette ormai da molti anni e questo, posso dire sia il migliore che abbia mai avuto. Materiali solidi e ben rifinito, esteticamente è stupendo. Negli anni ho avuto diversi shavette, ma nessuno mi ha mai restituito un feeling così positivo. Impeccabile. Un po' più "rude" altri shavette in commercio, perdona poco. lo sconsiglio per chi è alle prime armi. Spedizione celere e servizio clienti molto cortese. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole fare un salto di qualità ed eleganza nella sua rasatura...
