Used this to replace a standard bulb in the trunk of my 2024 Honda Civic Advance. Honda for some reason cheaped out on it and this led replacement is significantly brighter and makes a huge difference for a great price. Took about 30 seconds to replace.

Good stuff but for exterior it’s wowo

I took the attached picture in the early afternoon. The main xenon headlight is switched on and the LED sidelight bulb is on also.Compliments the colour of the xenon really well and much, much better than orange-pale glow of the previous bulb. Took mere seconds to swap out also.

These failed in less than a years use. The flat section of PCB is only secured within the circular body by link wires.The vibration from use in a normal car in good condition cracked the solder joints on those link wires resulting in serious flickering. On removal of one of the failed lamps, the joints failed completely, the link wires pulled out and the PCB separated from the body. The other lamp did not fall apart, but the cracked joints could be seen under a microscope.There is negligible clearance between the unsheathed link wires and the aluminium lamp body which carries significant risk of short circuit.The aluminium rings surrounding the ends of the LED arrays also fell off into the light fitting and had to be fished out.Avoid.

Really bright bulbs but the first sidelight has blown after only 6 months.
