Not as convenient as hoped. T he fur release was not smooth.

It really gets the hair out we brush both cats every day with it! My house is much cleaner now!

Finally a brush that my cats actually love for me to use on them. My cats hated to be brushed and would fight me tooth and claws to get away but after brushing them with this deshedding brush my cats will stretch out and just let me brush them all day long.I have two cats with two separate coats but both have long hair. One is fluffy while the other one is more thick and not fluffy at all. Other brushes seemed to work fine with the fluffy hair but not as great on the cat with the thicker hair. However, this brush seems to really gets down into the coat of the cat and gets out all of the knots and tangles that you didn't even know where there. I swear when I brushed my cats their coats became so soft and shiny. They looked so pretty that I couldn't believe me just brushing them could make their coats look so good but it did and it's all because of this pet brush. I have also noticed that they both don't shed as much as before when I would try to use the ordinary cat brushes. I used to have so much cat hair on my clothes and all over my house but with only using this brush for about two weeks now there is a lot less around the house and on me, which is awesome.Now, about the brush itself. It has a nice sized handle that fits really nice in the hand. It has some give on the handle so it's not just hard plastic and you can really keep a grip on it. It is constructed really nice and it has the button on the top to help release the hair from the brush part, which works great. I have to clean it quite a bit so it's makes doing just that nice and handy. The only thing that I would change and do better is the cap that you can put on the brush part. It's really hard to get on and off so if that could be made better this product would be 110% perfect. However, even despite that little flaw the brush is perfect and your cat will love it and you!

I needed a good grooming tool for our cats and this one is great! I received one of these to review and I love it! We have an indoor kitten that has been getting regular baths and grooming so his hair was pretty soft, but I used this tool on him, and not only did it get extra hair off that the regular brush didn't, it made his hair even softer! He feels like he's made of silk now! We have an outdoor cat that comes in to eat and his hair usually feel a little coarse, but after I used this tool on him, his hair too was super soft and silky! This tool got deep down into the hair and got out the stuff that usually causes cats to throw up hairballs.We also have two large inside bunnies and their hair/fur can be a huge problem! One of them is a Lionshead and she has thick, fairly fluffy fur. The other one is a brown bunny with sleek, but thick hair. They groom themselves and are always so soft. I very carefully used this tool on them and the difference was absolutely amazing! Their fur now feels like the best quality silk on the planet! It got off tons of loose fur that would have ended up on my floor or sticking to their cage. A few minutes of brushing our pets with this tool is going to seriously cut down on the amount of pet hair I have to sweep and chase across the floors as well as nasty hairballs.The handle is a nice size for holding and has a no-slip grip. The tool's weight makes it easy to just brush through the hair without having to exert any pressure or pull on your pet's hair. It is super comfortable to use! Over the years I have tried numerous types of brushes for our pets, but this one is by far superior. It does what it says it will do and then some!
