Living in Central New York we have very long and dry winters. Willow came to me after my sister suddenly passed away a few months ago and I immediately started her on one of these and one of the Zesty Paw senior multivitamin daily. I figured the blend of the two would do a great job and it has. She's 42 pounds and I feel one of each is more than sufficient for her needs. Each dog is different. Despite what I felt she would view as a treat, Willow just does not want to take these as treats. So I take about 3 ounces of high-quality wet food and blend it in there. Works like a charm and it also helps conceal her daily medication. I've had her for about four months now and she gets brushed daily and it's hard to necessarily tell how much difference something makes. One of my friends was over the other day and he could not get over how soft her coat was considering she's a working class dog as a Dutch Shepherd living in a Central New York winter. I would recommend without hesitation. However, I think it's best used with their multi formula type supplement which already has a certain degree of skin and coat supplement in it. I found one of each for her blended in a very small amount of wet food has made her coat beautiful and not a iota of dandruff as her former vet noted in her record. It is expensive compared to other things you can purchase, but I'd rather spend a few extra dollars on a supplement versus a couple hundred dollars at the vet's office because she's nipping at herself because of dry skin. That one vet visit and follow up visit would cost more than a one year supply of this which would likely prevent issues unless your dog has a serious skin issue. This is great for dogs that may be prone to it especially in the winter.

If your pup is suffering from dry, flaky, itching, skin this product is a MUST !!! So I am a very proud dog parent of a 1 year old Chi Mix, named Bambi! She is only the sweetest thing in the world! She was rescued from a kill shelter two days before being euthanized! Now she has the happiest of lives and is a pure bundle of joy! Anyways, back to the reason I ordered these. Ever since the warm weather hit, our poor baby has been suffering from dry, flaky, itchy, and patchy fur and skin! We took her to the vet she tested negative for everything, and was put on flea and tick medicine just Incase, even though she had no signs of that. She was also given an allergy shot. The itching subsided but her dry and flaky skin persisted. My mom and sister recommended an Omega 3 supplement because they told me maybe she is not getting enjough omega 3s in her diet. So after doing a bunch of research, I stumbled upon Zesty Paws and boy did I make the right choice! First of all, I love that these are a chew and not a pill! Anyone know how difficult it is to give your pup a pill?? No thanks. Okay so, not only are they a treat, but Bambi LOVES Them! Check out the photos of her sitting and wagging her tail when she sees the container! She goes absolutely nuts for them! We usually give it to her at night before she gets her “Greeny” tooth treat for her teeth! It is the perfect routine and also lets her know it is almost Bedtime ! Second, they ingredients are such high quality and they do NOT smell like fish! They smell like a delicious peanut butter biscuit and they are so soft and do not break in the container ! I was shocked they do not smell like fish, I totally assumed they would! Major Bonus! Okay, last point, one thing to keep in mind, when Bambi bites into it, the treat does crumble only a little, nothing crazy, but totally expected, so just keep in mind when you give it to your fur baby! I am just usually there to catch the crumbs when she bites into it!

These Zesty Paws chews are amazing! My dog has always had a dry coat, and since starting these omega-3 supplements, her fur has become noticeably shinier and healthier. The itching and shedding have also reduced a lot. What I really appreciate is that she actually loves the flavor—no fuss at all during feeding. Really works. Helps control dry skin on my Weimaraner

Poor Quality Control Often find inconsistent texture, often crumbly portions. Several times a significant portion of the product was small pieces. Otherwise I think it’s a good product, and will purchase it again. I would accept the refund that the company offered, however I don’t believe it would cause them to make any changes. So my review stands.

These chews are amazing. We have tried diet changes, shampoos, medications and until trying these chews, our dog continued to scratch uncontrollably. He hates taking any medication but these are almost as good as a treat to him. We started giving them to both dogs and I have caught the other one stealing them from the other. We didn't notice any side effects at all.

I have bought this product 5 times in 2021 alone. It’s a staple for our family. We have 2 Pomeranians and a Chihuahua. Our 16 year old chihuahua Rupert has had delicate skin since we adopted him 4 years ago. He was constantly flaking dandruff onto everything we own but worse, he was always itchy. His scratching would keep us up all night. We tried so many things including oatmeal baths and omega 3. This is the only product all 3 dogs get excited about. When we let them out in the morning, they run back inside and wait outside our pantry door. All I have to say is “you want your vitamin now?” And they’re all spinning excitedly. The excessive scratching has almost completely subsided and the poms coats are so shiny. As a Canadian I am often sceptical of products made in the USA for my dogs but I read the reviews and figured I’d try it out. Now we buy it regularly. Hope this helps! It’s worked for us, and our dogs love them. Just a tip for small dogs like ours - I break the pieces up for safety.

Great treat vitamin, we have these in multiple options

Just receive it and give a bite to my puppy! He loves it! My Pomeranian boy start his monkey phase, shedding a lot! Hope this product help to grow his adult fur as fast as possible! Will update the review about the result.

What I like about this product is it definitely smells better than most, I bought other similar treats before and my dogs hated the taste. I've noticed a shine on their coat within a week , and they're not itching as much. I'm also curious to see how it's going to work on their nails. So I'll update once I do know. There is 90 in a bottle, I do wish that there were more because it cost $55 and can get expensive.

This product may work well for some dogs, but it gave my pup diarrhea. I gave Brandy 1/2 a chew twice a day and it gave him severe diarrhea. I waited a few days and tried 1/2 a chew a day and still diarrhea. I discontinued. After a 2 month break, I tried 1/3rd of a chew once a day and after about 4 days his stools were watery, so I will not give him this product again.
