Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (PSP)

I've played PC games of HP1 to HP5 i.e. order of pheonix and this PSP game is somewhat similar to my PC game which I really liked (thumbs up for that). Hogwarts in this game looks like Hogwarts in PC games. But for those who haven't tried the PC games, I'd say it looks like Hogwarts in the movies to some extent. I love having to wander around the whole Hogwarts and the marauder's map is useful and applicable. Just like in PC game, you don't get lost even though the whole place is so big as you just have to follow the footprints after choosing the destination you want to go in the map. Spell-casting is a bit tricky as you'll have to remember which buttons to use later but this isn't a problem, just keep the game manual near you and there's a page with all the buttons for different spells :)I didn't buy Goblet of fire and half-blood prince after reading the reviews but I think this order of pheonix is the best for you if you're a huge Harry Potter fan like me and if you feel like you have to at least own one Harry potter game for your PSP ;) Suitable for those who love running around Hogwarts (as it's based on carrying out different tasks throughout the school which requires a lot of going around the castle and grounds just like any other HP games). Would not recommend it if you're not really into Hogwarts thing and exploring.The only downside is the camera angle tends to be a bit fixed in one direction only sometimes but this didn't stop me enjoying the game. Another a bit annoying thing is the moving staircases (for all seven floors) move too much which is a bit time-consuming if you wanna go from one floor to another. But yes, I'd recommend this order of phoenix to any HP fan who owns a PSP too :)

Classic harry

I don't know if it's just my copy, but this is very buggy.Movement is awkward and loads of dialogue is missing, which makes it hard to work out what to do.Every time the game is played the bugs vary slightly.At one point, there was the sound of a battle in the background for no reason at all as far as I could see!

In direct comparison with the previous HP game for the PSP (goblet of fire), this really shines despite the better reviews G.O.F. received. The graphics are so, SO much better as well as the music and especially in its story telling through BREATHTAKING cutscenes which I sorely missed in G.O.F. Also the great voice acting by the cast really immerses you into the game -another thing largely lacking in G.O.F. This game, to put it simply made me want to play it...ALOT! I could hardly put it down (despite my library of games with the very highest ratings) With the previous HP, i became quickly bored and irritated with the gameplay and left it well alone.This game has the feel of an open ended RPG in an environment all Potter fans will go crazy for! (its so detailed and beautiful) People say the NPCs are like zombies but they follow you with their eyes and if you bump into them in an invisibility cloak they jump back and look around quizzically (funny!) for example. There are some tricky bits which require an imaginative use of the objects in the HP environment (reminded me of adventure games a little) but when you succeed its so rewarding! There are always more places to see and things to do. You can also choose what tasks you want to do and I think it feels very non-linear while still giving J.K. Rowling's story highest importance.The flaws of the game are mostly camera which occasionally isn't perfect and I think spell casting needs a bit of practice but I don't mind that :)If you love harry potter, I think you'll really like this. Maybe it's a love it or hate it game?....either way I'VE fallen head over heels!

This game is the worst game I have ever bought for my psp, I owned goblet of fire and I loved it, so I thought I would treat myself to the next one, wish I had saved my money, this game is total rubbish, all you do in this game is walk around talking to people, fetch books, get plants, so boring I am 50% through it, not to sure whether I can be bothered to finish it, rubbish game save your money.PS it keeps freezing and you have to turn off the psp and start again, wouldn't recommend to any Harry Potter fan.
