Jr. Fire Fighter Suit with Helmet, Size 4/6 (Black)

2 years on, and he is still wearing it.Grandma had to do a little repair to the pant straps, he wore them out, but the rest has stood the test of an active 6 year old for the past 2 years.Size is accurate.

My 3.5 yr son loves his suit and wears it everywhere. The quality of the fabric is excellent and the reflective tape is really bright at night. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 star is the zipper. I agree with previous reviews, the zipper is the weakest point of the outfit. It hasn't broken but it is not a good quality zipper.

Well my three year old twin boys are obsessed with anything that has to do with firemen! Of course they wanted to be firefighters for Halloween, so Grandma bought them costumes at Wal-Mart. Two thumbs down. They didn't last through the first day they tried them on. I found this costume and read every review I could find. I wanted to make sure I was getting quality and authentic looking costumes for the price. Well......they are amazing. They look just like real turnouts. The material is heavy and durable. I would say to reinforce the red suspender straps when you get them, they frayed on me. Otherwise, I could not be happier with them. Our other Grandma took them in and had their names embroidered on the back in yellow letters and had a fire symbol put on their breast pocket just like real firefighters. They are awesome. Sometimes the boys wear them out and people stop us and ask where I got them. The brass hook buttons are so authentic looking and the thumb hole sleeves were a nice surprise. They seemed to run a litle big in size, but I ordered big so they can wear them for awhile. Sorry to ramble on, but you will not be sorry with this purchase. It is well worth the money!

This is the most durable, well-made Halloween costume I've ever seen. It's also very authentic looking and cute! My son won a neighborhood "best costume" contest with this one this year. I also loved the fact that it's very well suited for the cold Halloweens we have in Minnesota. It's easy to put warm clothes underneath and not compromise the costume's look.The pants are adjustable (it has suspenders), however as other reviewers noted it does run quite large. My son is a couple months' shy of 4 years old, and he's small for his age. I wasn't sure which size to buy -- I chose the 4-6 size so that he could wear it for a number of years. I kind of wish they had more sizing options cause neither one seemed like the right call for my 3-year old. It turned out OK, though. It was clearly a little bit big on him, but not to the point that he was swimming in it.The reflective stripes were great in the dark for safety purposes. And the sleeves go down around the thumb (so it's kind of like partial mittens). It helps keep the coat in place. My son thought that was really cool.

Got this for my 3 year old to wear this past Halloween. First I will state we purchased the size 4/6 as he is a big boy 41" and 40lbs for his age (just turned 3). The size fit him perfectly and he can now use it for dress up fireman or in the winter when playing in the snow as it is waterproof material. The suspenders on the pants are great so you can adjust the length. The jacket has nice clips, and is realistic looking. The hat is perfect and thick heavy plastic. My son is very active and he has worn this hat from the time he wakes up to the time he sleeps (even when he falls asleep) everyday for over a month and it has no damage. This is the best costume I have ever purchased for any of my 3 kids. I recommend this for any aspiring firemen to wear for Halloween or dress up!

My 4yr old son is very into dressing up as a Fire Fighter. We have purchased him 3 other dress up fire fighter outfits and none of them come close to being the quality we have found here.The best part of this outfit is that it is a complete suit! We could not find any other realistic outfits with the pants included, the fact that they are bib overalls is a huge bonus because it allows for lots of leway in sizing.The material is thick, and looks very durable. I love the reinforced knees and elbows and the metal buckles. My son was so excited when he got it he said "finally, a REAL fire fighter outfit, now I can be a REAL fireman". It has afforded him hours of imaginative play.This suit is great for preschooler's and building their imagination and skill set. It is absolutely worth the price and even more.Thank you for such a great product!

I worried about this item as my child was in between sizes (he's a 4T because he's on the tall side but he's very lean) and since it was more expensive than I had originally been looking for, but this was a HUGE hit in my house. I loved the detail and how well made the costume was - the fabric was good quality, heavier than most cheap children's costumes. The metal clasps on the jacket were adorable, although one of them was very difficult to get open and closed at first (after working with it it's becoming easier, but he still need an adult to do that particular closure.) He LOVES this costume, and I would recommend it to anyone who has a little firefighter at home.

I got this for my son's Halloween costume and it was perfect! His father is a volunteer firefighter and this little outfit matches his dad's uniform perfectly! There is so much detail in this costume it's well worth the price! The detail from the patches on the knees to the metal buckles on the coat make it that much more special! My son has had it for 2 years now and it still fits and he plays in it all the time and it still looks as good as the day we got it!
