Excellent look, nice details. Great price!
Excellent price, lightweight, reliable, sleek and techy look. Very crisp L.E.D. plus wrist stays cool. Locking tab on end of wrist strap a nice bonus, keeps things from sliding and doesn't catch on surfaces.

Worth 2x the Price
I LOVE this watch. I tend to prefer analog watches, but I love this digital watch. I love the orange accents on the gunmetal-ish face. I love the features it has (dual time, alarm clock, backlight, stopwatch, countdown timer). I love the size and weight of it. I love that it's cheap enough that I don't have to be paranoid about scratching it. My $400 kinetic Seiko is watching me with judgmental eye, gathering dust as I type this. What I DON'T love is how this watch comes with no instructions. It's not super complicated to figure out, but some of the basic things:-MODE switches between clock, stopwatch, alarm, countdown timer, clock #2 (completely separate time)-ADJ button shows month/date (when in clock mode), starts/stops stopwatch (stopwatch mode), turns alarm sound on/off (alarm mode), stars/stops countdown timer (countdown timer), and nothing in clock #2.-SET, when held down, resets the stopwatch (stopwatch mode), or enters you into set mode.SET MODEWhen you're either trying to set your clock time, countdown timer, or alarm, you first need to hold down SET until part of the display starts to flash. Once it flashes, press the ADJ button until you have correctly set it, then hit the MODE button to move to the next adjustment. Once you have set everything, hit SET.For example, if you want to set the countdown timer for 1 hour and 20 minutes: Hold down SET until it flashes. Hit ADJ once to set 1 hour. Hit MODE to switch to minutes. Hit ADJ 20 times to set it to 20 minutes. Then hit SET to finalize and exit out of set mode. Then once you want to start the timer, hit ADJ.Hopefully this helps. If not, then sorry to waste your time. I love this watch though. I have never owned Armitron watches before, but they will be my first search when this watch eventually dies.

It looks expensive, it's classy, and it's the exact definition of a great watch!
I bought a watch from Armitron before and that watch lasted I think 3-4 years, because the rist band got too worn out and broke, but it lasted a long time for a 20 buck watch. You can't go wrong with Armitron. They are just great watches at a great price. Also, just for some untold info about the way this watch works is that the days of the week in the big circle darken for each day, like if it was sunday the middle of the circle would darken. And in the smaller circle were it says T2(time two) it shows the date (like 06 or 15). It shows PM and AM next to the time on the left. IT COMES WITH A VERY DETAILED MANUAL. The stainless still is very nice and is located where it says set, adj, light, and mode. The sides where it has the buttons is also stainless steel and the two parts on the band. This watch is also very shiny and sharp looking, which makes it looks very expensive. This watch has exactly what you need for every day use. It shows the day, date, time, seconds, and PM and Am all on the face of the watch. All of the features that this watch has is as follows...1.A time telling Mode (hours, minutes, seconds, date, and day of the week).2.A Calendar Mode (month, date, and day of the week, but there is NO YEAR).3.(2) 24 hour alarms.4.Hourly chime: One 'beep' every full hour.5.A Chronograph Mode: hours, minutes, seconds, and 1/100th of a second with lap operation.6.A Countdown Timer7.A Second Time Zone8.A 12 or 24 hour clock9.Water resistant 330 feet.10.And a light you press when it gets dark to lighten up everything.A perfect watch indeed.

Pleasantly surprised and impressed
I've never been a watch guy at all and only wear dressy watches when going out for the night. I decided I wanted a nice sports/casual watch for every day wearing. I bought this because I liked the look of it, and I really wanted a bigger style watch. Also, the customer reviews were fantastic which is always a good sign. The picture does no justice, the watch is very shiny and doesn't feel cheaply built. The buttons are actually made out of metal, and are very easy to push if you have big hands. I didn't need a lot of bells and whistles and only wanted it for the date, time, and timer function. It does have a stop watch and an alarm (which will be good on the nights my cell phone is dead). I got 3 compliments on it at work on the first day of wearing it. It's a good size watch. Not quite as big as some of the G-shocks, but still stands out big time on your wrist. My only two complaints are that there were absolutely no instructions in the box (others have seemed to have the same issue as well) and the back light is pretty dim. Not a deal breaker though. It's just bright enough to clearly see the time in a dark room, no more, no less. It may actually be better on the battery than if the whole thing lit up like the sun. Also, the light fades out instead of abruptly shutting off which is a really nice feature. One other strange thing is that when the alarm and hourly chime are shut off, they are lit up on the watch face, while when they are turned on, they are blacked out on the watch. It's a bit backwards, but I think was designed that way because most people will have those two functions turned off all the time and therefore eliminates having to look at two black screens on your watch for the majority of time. Thus, it seems like an aesthetics thing to me.Would highly recommend. Would have given it five stars if there were instructions in the box, and a slightly brighter back light. The best part of the watch is the crisp contrast between the shinny metal and orange accents.

Great work watch!
Got this for my son, but when arrived, the face was too big for him. I decided to give it a try for a work watch. Has all the standard digital watch perks, stop watch, timer, alarm, dual time, back light. Has the option for hourly chime, and turning alarm on/off. The light illuminates just the numbers in a soft blue glow, very easy to see without lighting up a dark area. The band feels well made, has a nice metal support accent piece on each side. The watch seems well made, and I would put it in the light/medium duty class. It looks nice, and a lot more expensive than it was. Very easy to set, and a full set of instructions are included in the watch case. I have gotten it soaked and went swimming with it, so far so good. The watch came inside a retail Armitron box, with the watch clasped to the inner shell of box. This was then packaged with padding inside a larger box. Based off the pictures, description, price and overall quality I work highly recommend this product and seller.

Too good to be true?
UPDATED REVIEW January 8th, 2015 - I just ordered a replacement Armitron watch just because this watch has been the best I have ever owned. Can you believe it? I ordered a different model today but I am amazed how many compliments I have received over the years and I have literally beat this watch silly. I swim, bike, run, camp, hike....This watch I am replacing is scratched but still works great. The backlight is fading but I suspect it just needs a replacement battery. I have changed my rating to 5 stars. I am still amazed the value for such an inexpensive watch.ORIGINAL REVIEW - This is my first Armitron watch....I am a triathlete and typically have used Timex Ironman watches for years and my last one was pretty beat up. So, I thought I would dress things up a bit with this watch. Very easy to setup after reading the instructions. Really cool layout once you get used to looking for the the information like the date, etc. For the money or really the less amount of money it is hard for me to believe I got this so cheaply. The super chrome surface areas maybe make it look cheap or maybe not. I got a compliment on the watch last night. So, not sure why I only gave it 4 stars but this early on it is hard for me to believe such a watch is so cheap. I will probably post a note down the road. But, even if this watch only lasts six months (but, other reviewers allege their Armitrons last for years...) who cares for $20?

Great Value
This is probably the best value in watches from a perspective of features and aesthetics/price. It has dual time, countdown timer, and a stop watch. There is also a button to illuminate all fields. There are a couple of quirks:1) It took me quite some time to figure it out, but in the setting where you can chose to activate the alarm and activate the hourly beep mode, when the choices are obscured by the the black outline (the box that has the picture of the alarm bell and hour chime will be have all of the pixels filled) it doesn't mean that these choices are disabled. Very counter-intuitively, it means that these selections are chosen. In other words, when you can't see the pictures depicting your selection, there are activated and when you can see the pictures they are not active. I'm not sure if my watch is defective but hopefully this will save someone some aggravation. Very confusing.2) I hate that I can't deactivate the beeping noises when I push a button. My kids love this and it attracts them to the watch like magnets but I find no practical value in this.I have gotten NUMEROUS compliments for the watch, most of which assume a very high price point. I have taken it into the river and as mentioned above it has passed the "kids test" proving its durability. I have no regrets and at this price if you have gotten as far as reading the review I suggest you just buy the watch. It will cost you less then the price of taking someone out to dinner and you will actually have something to show for it.

Excellent watch, but somewhat rare
I first bought this watch at a local Walmart in my area and it lasted me for about 4 years. It has a fairly simple interface - given that keeping the small manual will help with any confusion one may have over time, and is incredibly durable. It is sad that the previous one I had is unwearable now; the straps have separated in some areas, but it is still working well in terms of function. If I had only one complaint, it is that there are no replacement straps - or at least any I can find in my area. Other than that, it's an amazing watch.

Good product, but poor packaging
The product is of good quality and looks awesome. However, the packaging was very poor. It would be much better if the seller ensures proper and secure packaging for delivery
