I know it's odd to use descriptions such as "sturdy" to describe utensils such as these, but they look bright and shiny and you would think they are not meant to be used hard, but that would be wrong. These are made of stainless steel and hold up well during use, the shiny polish have not scratched and still looks good after cleaning. The spoon was what I used most for tea and coffee (I know it's not the proper tool, but it served the purpose and looked good). The forks were something I had to find use for, and eventually used them for serving vienna sausages (sigh). These were bought to be a display set for guest, and for that they were perfect. Cleaning is easy as they appear to be scratch resistant at this time.

Nice set of utensils for appetizers .. and kids. One piece, solid stainless steel. My set had little hearts punched in the handle end, different from design in the picture. Since they are one piece, they won't come apart or, trap food. You will not ever wear these out! But, you might lose them since they are not large. Three forks and three spoons in each set so, for a family of four, you will need two sets and, have a couple of spares. For a family of six, you could do with only two sets but, with no spares. Better to get three sets to handle the inevitable loss of a spoon or fork. You won't be sorry!

These are the cutest little spoons and forks. They’ve held up well washing in the dishwasher. They feel heavy in your hand. Definitely recommend
