My hair has never been so soft and shiny!
I love this straightener!! I had been using a BaByliss porcelain ceramic straightener for about 7 years, and it was time to upgrade. I straighten my hair almost every day. I have thick hair- each individual strand is really fine, I just have a lot of it. My hair is mostly straight, but does flip and curl towards the end and I have a lot of flyaways. I wanted something to smooth my hair and help it to look shiny. I did a lot of research and initially bought a different (cheaper) straightener which I used once and returned. I decided to splurge on this..... and I have never loved my hair more. It's shiny, and so soft and smooth. I can't stop touching it. Even after I sleep all night, I wake up with soft shiny and smooth hair. I can't recommend this straightener enough.

So far great
I just received this after buying and returning a few different brands of flat irons. I have had 3 different chi's and I am extremely picky. I have thick wavy hair...I plugged it in and it was warm fast. I was able to straighten my hair in one pass per section...the chi usually takes me more than 1 pass...so far I am extremely pleased with it!

Had mine for 6 years...still going strong!
I originally bought my Nume, in teal, from the actual website. I absolutely LOVE my straightener. I use it everyday, no exaggeration. I've had this same one since 2016. And it's still working like new. It glides through my hair, never "sticks" or "snaggs". 1 pass and my hair is straight.. I 10000% recommend a Nume straightener.. For reference, I have type 2C-3A hair.. to my butt..

It arrived in bad condition
Before I purchased I read comments saying that the got a used one, but I said "what are the odds"... Well, this is how it arrived. It looks like glue or something. I'm not sure if it was previously used or if the quality of the product is bad but it doesn't look new. This is not a very cheap one so I was expecting a better quality.
