This is by no means a professional-grade tool, but it's entirely serviceable for what it's intended for, for typical use at home or at work, if you need to clamp something small. The plastic add-on parts are nice, for holding things that would be damaged if clamped directly by metal.It's not the strongest clamp in the world, but it gets the job done, for the kind of jobs I had mind. If you have a mini-drill press, like the Dremel-holder kind, this and some other small clamp styles will be very useful. This is also handy for attaching temporarily to fold-up workbenches. If you have a permanent work bench you could even mount it on that, but I think it would be better to mount it to a board and use vertical clamps to hold the board to your bench, rather than make holes in the bench. If you do have a big bench, you probably want larger clamps than this, anyway.The construction is pretty cheap, but if you're trying to drill or file a "hobby thing" (bead, model part, whatever), this will work. Just don't expect machinist-level precision.

I hated this vise at first... but with a little lube on the screw, the rubbing surfaces of the jaw, and the washer underneath.... it got better. Then you'll want to sand off the sharp edges on the knob and use it a bit. It will loosen up. Then, it's not bad. I had to take a star off for having to finish the job. I used a Teflon lube, but silicone lube would probably work well too.

Pro: Nice little clamp for the price. I particularly like the accessories that it comes with for clamping odd objects, they work well.CON: the main clamping screw was binding right out of the box. I had to use a tap (M10 x 1.5) to re thread it. this fixed the problem.It works grate now. It lost 1 star because it needed fixing. It lost a second star because it took a tool most people wont have to fix it.

Product works for what I wanted and was shipped early. I really have nothing negative to say about this product.

Needed a small vise to complete a project using a Dremal tool, this vise worked perfectly and is affordable. Now that I have the vise I think it will be handy for other small projects. Very good deal on a very light duty vise.

Bought this to help drill out small plastic wheels it can’t even hold them straight or flatThe guides are worthless and released the part on after about 3 seconds destroying it and then melted when it spun inside them if I could I would give this no stars ! Don’t buy this if you need any sort of accurate holes drilled in anything! Won’t work at all. Guess I got what I paid for!
