Solution to huge pores!! For years expensive facial cleaners, only to look at my 10xmagnified face mirror with disappointment! I could see black dots in every single pore- gross but true. I was curious reading that this soap was organic, handmade, natural ingredients and bamboo charcoal soap is an ancient soap. I noticed a huge difference instantly! The first time I used it I was so excited to see a change in my skin, finally! I dry brush my face before hand and then wash my face and I am so happy to watch all the deep blackheads disappear! This is the first time I have ever written a review and this product is amazing in many ways. You feel your skin is clean and a tightens your face in a good way. I realized it lathers quite a bit so I broke my soap in half so it would last longer. My back has cleared up too! Had a few pimples on it and they are gone. I am hooked on this soap- for life. Really. The smell is refreshing & light- grapefruit scented but it does not make your skin smell after. It is charcoal so it is black but washes off and I don't notice any residue after my baths. I want to give a bar to all my friends. It is that awesome. Don't hesitate - your skin will love you!

I've used a lot of different brands of activated charcoal soap to help heal my adult acne in the last six months, I even made my own to save a few bucks (it was a disaster). So how did SAPO Bamboo Charcoal Soap measure up? Well, I'm not going to buy another brand ever again.....or make my own. Their soap wins, by far.SAPO Bamboo Charcoal strikes the perfect balance between gentleness and effectiveness. It will leave your skin squeaky clean without over drying- they do suggest using a moisturizer afterwards as soap is not intended to add moisture but to really clean your skin. I've been using Pacifica's dreamy youth day/night cream afterwards and so far, just a couple weeks later, I've yet to have a single breakout which is really rare for me. My skin tone is more even. My face has never felt more smooth (all those little bumps are starting to disappear). And my face just generally feels really clean.....something I had been missing. I also like the scent which is super mild.One of my favorite perks of this soap is that I don't need a make-up remover. I use this soap once to remove my makeup (even stubborn mascara and eyeliner melts off without much effort) and then I wash my face again immediately afterwards to really clean my skin. And that's it. Super quick, super effective. I tossed out my oil make up removers (even my beloved coconut oil which I swore by). This soap is truly a winner and keeper.Their customer service is outstanding too. They provide great tips for using their soap and making it last longer.I'd recommend this to everyone- especially those like me with oily-combo skin who is prone to a lot of breakouts.

I'm trying different charcoal soaps on Amazon to find the best one. This is not the one. I'm 39 yr old female. Fair complexion, combination skin prone to excema and acne. I used this soap on my face, neck, ears, and shoulders. While it didn't irritate my excema, it did give me small white head pimples on those areas. It also made my skin produce more oil. A black soap I had used before this one had cleared up my pimples, so I know this one gave me the pimples. They showed up the day after using this soap. I've been using for one week. It also glued itself to my soap dish. When I pried it off, I lost a large portion of the soap to the dish.

As a 22 year old who still struggles with acne and large pores, I was excited to try a product so well reviewed. Unfortunately, after 1.5 weeks of washing with this twice a day (always followed with moisturizer), my face broke out worse than it has been in probably 6 years. I stopped using it immediately and even after two weeks the break out is still healing. Also it dried my skin badly, no matter how much lotion I used. Glad it worked for some of you! But it didn't work for me!

I am assuming the charcoal is pulling out toxins for ice been using this as a face wash for a month and I'm starting to break out in those sit under the surface pimples. I have mostly blemish free skin and only use gentle cleansers for up keep. 3 stars because it's making me break out with acne and I prefer a face wash just to clean and keep blemishes away.

I was doing a clarity cleanse for my body before the holidays. My face started to breakout, and I realized - the largest organ in the body is the skin. If any other part of your body isn’t functioning properly, from your gut, to your brain, it can show up on your skin because your pores get clogged up with toxic crap. It took a while but I found SAPO Organic Bamboo Charcoal Soap. By far the better charcoal soaps. I use it in the shower instead of shower gel. Great lather and the bar doesn't melt to nothing! Love this stuff!

My daughter tried everything short of a prescription for bad acne. This soap was a last resort before the dermatologist. It worked wonderfully! The process has taken several months but we saw results within a week. She used it in conjunction with a face mask twice a day every day. The acne is almost gone. Now to clear up the redness left behind! Very happy with this soap! It's worth a try if you are struggling with acne.

I read a lot of the reviews and they were all positive and fantastic. Unfortunately, maybe it's my skin or just personal tastes, but I did not like it. I didn't see any changes in my skin or any decrease in my acne, if anything there was an increase. I also read that due to its thickness, this bar of soap last longer, I didn't find that true. I'm sure the soap works amazing for a lot of people, but i'm just not one of them.
