LC002 1600 mm Apex Porch Canopy

So far so good. Used a 750ml tin of Dulux weathershield to treat and protect the wood followed by what felt like about 20 coats but probably only 3-4 of Ronseal fence paint in Sage before I started construction. Really easy to put together as I'm no expert. I was very chuffed with myself. Very good quality. Some of the roof beams didn't slot into the angles perfectly but that could have been me rather than the item. Would definitely recommend.

So long as you have a reasonable level of DIY knowledge, this kit gives you the basis or a really great, sturdy and affordable porch. I purchased the kit to be part of our front door refresh that included installation of a tiled step, painting the door and adding a security light. The kit comes untreated so once I put it together at ground level on some tressels I gave it several coats of Cuprinol paint in our chosen colour. I added a pan tile roof, lead work etc per the pics, it has really elevated our front door and we have had many compliments! If only they knew how cost effective these kits are!! Highly recommend

Canopy looks good. Will be 5-star if better customer services 1) installation manual come with delivery 2) should have reminder to state it needs treatment (before we bought, so that paint can be prepare in advance). 3) paint estimation is given (even roughly, on a certain band of paint). CS refused to give any estimation. Anyway, by trial and error, use - one can of Dulux primer, 750ml - one can of Dulux Weather Shield Quick Dry Satin Paint, 750 ml - Pure Brilliant White, for 2 layers. 4) missing 2pcs 5mm x 100mm screw. For the sake of time, haven't asked for replenishment, just went to B&Q to buy a box, cost £6.xx for 20pcs.

Good size and easy to assemble and install

Timbers were not A1 quality. showing evidence of minor repairs prior to packaging. However the price was right, everything fitted together perfectly and enabled me to finish it off to the style I wanted without wasting materials. Would I recommend this item, yes .. unreservedly.
