FURINNO JAYA Space Saving Multimedia Storage Tower, Espresso

This bookcase was very easy to assemble; especially with a cordless drill. The unit as a whole seems pretty sturdy especially for it's price point. The back is made of flimsy material, but they provide instructions and tools to help steady it a bit.I only have 2 cons with this unit. One of the corners came messed up, but luckily it is bottom corner so doesn't affect the look of the unit and is small enough it doesn't affect the balance. The other issue I had with the unit was in the instructions on how put it together. The illustration for step 3 indicate that the screws go in the outer 2 holes on both sides; but they actually go in the INNER 2 holes. I tried to follow the instructions at first but then realized if I did the nails would stick out and the unit pieces would not lay flush to each other.I have a small odd wall space that this unit fits into perfectly! Exactly what I was looking for to help organize my makeup. Birchbox boxes and ipsy bags fit with just a little overhang.

I purchased this storage tower for dvd and cd storage. The assembly instructions arent that clear as to where the hardware goes in conjunction with the smooth edges of the tower, but I figured that out. It was going well...I got all the way to nailing the backs on when I realized that each tier had completely pulled apart from the unit because the compressed wood (used to make the unit) crumbled all around the hardware. So basically, the unit did not survive the assembly because the wood is garbage. The bottom piece is longer than the top, so if you hammer the nails in with the unit face down as pictured in the instructions, the hardware tears its way right out of that soft wood. Luckily, I had some small, metal brackets from the Dollar store. I used 8 of them to put the unit back together. That made it really sturdy. I know from experience that the plastic shelf holders that came with the unit tend to buckle under the weight of cds and dvds, so I replaced them with metal shelf holders that I had left over from various book shelves and other storage towers in my home. I would NOT recommend this cheaply manufactured storage tower.

I never leave reviews but in this case I felt compelled to leave one. Let me start by saying I've been looking for a shelf for weeks to house my game collection and my criteria for a shelf was a bit outlandish to say the least. I needed something that didn't take up too much space but at the same time had a lot of space on it, quite ridiculous now that I'm seeing it written out. I also needed the shelf to have many shelf's on it and I needed/ wanted the space between the shelves to be no more than 6 inches and no less than 5. Then finally I needed this unicorn of a shelf I was looking for to be affordable or preferably cheap if possible. My search was running thin and I was on the verge of giving up until I came across this diamond in the rough. It was exactly perfect in every way I needed it to be almost too good to be true, then I read the reviews.... About 80% of the reviews we're just completely trashing this thing. Calling it junk, useless, not worth the money, anything you can think of. Honestly I felt like I could relate to this shelf. I thought about it for about a day maybe less then decided well if this thing does suck I guess I can just return it, I mean it's super cheap anyway. I just got it today and I love it so much, I couldn't of found a more perfect shelf for what I needed. Now that doesn't mean it is the perfect shelf period, it just means it's perfect for what I need it for. I can see how it wouldn't be suitable for some who need something more sturdy or bigger or whatever the case may be. But like I said I needed a shelf for a certain size of box for the games I have and this shelf rose to the occasion. This thing is the definition of 'you get what you pay for' but it meets every need on my impossible checklist. So with all that being said it is a great shelf for me but that doesn't mean it didn't come with some issues, albeit minor, but issues nonetheless. It does have trouble staying upright sturdy but they give you stuff to help with that. The directions could have been a bit more straightforward but I was able to get the job done so it's okay. Other than that I really don't have too much to complain about at the moment. I posted a few pictures to show how perfect it is for what I need. In closing just make sure you double triple quadruple check all specs dimensions length width everything before you purchase otherwise you're gonna have a bad time

So let's be honest, you get what you pay for and many products from Amazon are going to be from China. This was rated not so great but it was on sale during the Prime Days and I just needed something quick and easy to hold some excess DVD's and BluRays. Perfect fix, everything was included, box was smashed a bit but everything was in tact and included. Easy as heck to build, turned out to be a good little shelf. 😉

does what it needs to do, but the boards do not sit flush together, and its VERY tippy. Make sure you anchor it to the wall with the provided straps. the directions arent very clear.. needs more dowels to be more structurally secure.

First of all, this will NOT fit DVDs/Bluerays/video games nicely, unless you want them on their sides. These shelves were definitely designed to be spaced with CDs in mind. That being said, I was able to move the shelves around enough (by removing one entirely) that I was able to get three shelves that I could use for that size.Several of the pieces arrived with scuffs, but they weren't noticeable enough to warrant the hassle of sending it back. The bottom of the top piece is not finished, so you can see the unfinished particle board there. It's definitely designed that way, given how the holes were drilled. You can even see it in the instructions. The overall color is nice though, with some subtle wood grain that I wasn't expecting.Most importantly, this shelf is INCREDIBLY wobbly. If you have kids/pets/strong breezes, unless you want to bungee cord it to the wall, it's not stable enough for your household.The only reason I am not returning this immediately is because I don't feel like disassembling it to take it to a return pick up location.

It was so wobbly that I had to duct tape where I joined the sections. The screws that attached the sections were not very strong/secure. If you buy it, and you have kids or pets, definitely secure it to your wall. Disappointed..

Au niveau dimensions, c'est tout a fait ce a quoi je m'attendaisIl me reste 3 étagères non installées mais, pour des livres, 2 d'entre elles ne serviront jamais car, telle que la bibliothèque est configurée, avec ses 2 étagères fixes déjà dessus, on ne peut pas rajouter plus de 3 étagères mobiles en plus si c'est pour y mettre des livres, même de pocheEt au niveau qualité, c'est franchement pas topL'étagère n'est pas stable sur ses piedsLes panneaux de partir trop fins cassent quand on mets certaines vis de fixationConclusion : ça fera le job mais il ne faut plus y toucher ni vouloir la déplacer trop souvent

Overall a decent enough storage tower although you might have to make a few small adjustments to make it more solid.The back half of the tower is only secured with dowling pegs so isn't very sturdy. I just staggered the back panels to hold it together better, or you could use some glue during building.Some of the pre drilled hole are also very slightly off, not bad, but the keen eyed might notice if the tower is in a highly visible area.The espresso brown colour is dark enough to pass as black, if you can't find a black one of these, which I couldn't.All in all. I'm quite happy with it.
