Good idea, bad design.
These looked like the perfect gloves for the type of work I do. I'm a dockworker/forklift operator and I needed some durable gloves that also gave my fingers the freedom to type on the forklift computer. However these gloves only lasted me a couple of weeks before the fingertips got ripped off while I was strapping in some freight. I wish the fingertips would overlap further down the finger because they left a part of each finger exposed and often times the finger tip of the glove would come all the way off. Also they caused my hands to sweat profusely. I like the idea behind these gloves but I would not buy another pair.

Weak fingertips, great glove!
After using it on the loading rack, the fingertips (even the thumb that hardly touched the bricks) began to tear off. I would want higher quality for the price, but the rest of the glove is quite sturdy and I still like them!

Good gloves, but the fold over fingertips will almost certainly cause these to wear down quickly.
At first they seemed very well constructed and durable, however, after using them for only about 5 gigs, the fold-over fingertips are already starting to degrade, I imagine it won't be too much longer until the entire fold over finger tips are completely worn/torn off. The padding on the inside of the gloves (the palm area) seems to be holding well up though (mostly the area that calluses start for me). I really just wish these didn't have the fold over finger tips, I think that would make this product actually more durable. Having those fold over fingertips greatly reduced the durability of the entire fingers on these gloves. So even though the fingers are most likely going to go, the rest of the gloves are still pretty rugged. I however won't buy another pair unless they offer them in a version that DOES NOT contain the fold over finger tips.

Wxcellent gloves for electricians, carpenters, mechanics...
I receive this product for an inspection and for my honest and unbiased review. These gloves are very thick, strong and durable, the palms and fingers are padded nicely. Velcro straps keep them tight and gloves have a sleek additional feature: a discrete slit below the first bend of the on thumb, pointer and middle fingers on each hand, allowing you to fold-over fingertips of the on thumb, pointer and middle fingers and thumbs out for easy use of any smart device without the need to remove your gloves. These gloves are excellent for electricians, carpenters, mechanics, package delivery and handymen because they offering true finger dexterity for screws, nails and other intricate work. And also your hand stays protected while still providing the ability to pick up small items such as; screws, nails, bolts or wires.I bought these gloves for my brother. He is an electrician and does a lot of electrical work on daily basis. He thinks these gloves are good for what he does, to install conduit and do a lot of drilling and need to grab small objects, like screws, nuts and washers. Other gloves he has do not offer open fingers are more difficult to grab those small object. This product was received in return for my honest opinion.

Not for my weekly gig
I plan on returning these. Sure the slit thumb, forefinger and middlefinger tips come in handy, but when my finger/thumb isn't pointing out, I often feel the cold hard and sometimes rough surface of material on my bare skin, like when twisting on multipin connectors, or even carrying something which slips through the gloves and opens the slit. There's also no grip. Certainly they are well padded and could protect to some degree the occassional time when fingers are in the wrong place and something moves. So, my improvement suggestions are to make the palms rubberized for more gripping power, and more overlapping flaps on the slits to make it less likely to show bare skin.I've attached a pic with my spread open wide fingers and you can see the slits just open up to the skin.... not very protective.

Does exactly what they say, but needs smaller sizes.
I docked this item one star because the small/medium size (the smallest size offered) is just a bit too big for my tiny hands. My index and middle fingers kept slipping out of the foldover fingertips when I didn't want or need them to. (Not all roadies have ginormous hands, guys.)If they ever make a smaller size of this, I'm buying it, and giving my larger pair to a musician friend. Until then, I'll make do with the floppy fingertip covers.
