I’ve been using Maybelline Super Stay 24, 2-Step Lip Color for years, and it still amazes me how well it performs. The color really does stay put all day—through meals, coffee, meetings, and more. Once it sets, it doesn’t budge, smudge, or transfer.**What I Love: The pigment is rich and flattering, with tons of shades to choose from. The clear balm on the other end keeps my lips soft without affecting the color. No constant reapplying—just swipe it on once in the morning, and I’m good to go! Let the color dry completely before applying the balm for best results—and use a good remover at night. At first, I wasn't impressed. The name of this is Maybelline Super Stay 24. Maybe I'm dumb, but I presumed the "24" meant the lipstick lasted 24 hours. It so does not.But take out that "24". What you're left with is an easy to apply liquid lipstick. Wait a few minutes, and apply the built-in gloss for a superlative shine. This color will stay with you while you drink your breakfast coffee. Depending on what you have for lunch, the color may fade, but mostly on the lower lip. After lunch, brush your teeth (do NOT remove the lipstick), reapply the color, wait a few, then reapply the gloss. This stuff will last until the end of the work day and possibly even beyond.i find several things impressive about this lipstick: the number of colors, both matte and shimmer; the built-in gloss; the fact that the color is relatively "thin" so you don't have to take time to fully remove if you don't have to--just layer the color, wait a minute, apply the gloss and go. My favorite lip colors are the deep, dark reds, so my favorite one here is Optic Ruby. I have one in my bathroom and in my handbag. And the price is reasonable.In my opinion, Maybelline does a fine job of lipsticks. The closest rival to Super Stay 24 is Maybelline Matte Ink (Exhilarator and Voyager for the dark reds). I wore those colors for years before I retired because the color really did stay on forever, even through lunch. The only problem was my lips would sometimes become dry, and if I tried any kind of gloss, the lipstick would smear.So at this point in my life, this lippie is my favorite. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Love this lip stain. It does truly last for hours. And the bright Red’s that are available are just the eye catching colors I like. It is not sticky at all. It dries quickly a lasts all day. Even when I eat.The thin tube fits perfectly in my makeup tray but don’t let the size fool you. It has plenty in it to last as you need it. I replace my makeup every 6 weeks to 2 months for sanitation purposes. I have never run out.

The color is subtle and does not stand out awkwardly, but of course that depends on your own skin tone (my own skin tone is medium as I am Chinese). It almost matches my lip color yet gives the lip a more healthy and vibrant color. After applying, I use tissue paper to dab on my lips to remove the excess. When the lip balm is almost dry, I apply the ultra conditioning balm and my lips feel very moisturized . It stays all day long on the lips and does not smudge despite lunch and dinner. Texture is quite smooth. I apply the conditioning balm periodically to keep the lips moisturized and shining all day long, so it lasts quite long on my lips. At the end of the day, I use Vaseline ointment to remove it. The only downside is that there is not very much lipstick in the container and gets used up quite quickly.

I've tried so many "color stay" lipsticks that it's not even funny. I've spent $3 before, I've spent $40, too, and let me just tell you that Maybelline has hit it spot on with this product. It doesn't matter what I try, I always go back to this brand because of its staying power. So many colors to choose from and whatever it is they put in it works! I will say, however, that it doesn't seem to work well with other lipstick brands if you want to combine colors (I like to shade my lips for a fuller effect) since I found that the product glumps up a bit after applying the moisturizing topcoat but who cares. I'm even able to use the applicator to line/overline my lips depending upon the color I use and I'm just thrilled with this product.

Very pretty color! Doesn’t last nearly as long as advertised, maybe 6 hours. I vape throughout the day so that’s pretty good! Also, it fades all but an outline on your lips which can be difficult to remove even with makeup remover. It also transfers easily. Not a bad product, I use it several times a week just be prepared to reapply.

I love this long-lasting lipcolor by Maybelline. It really lasts and doesn't shift or leave smudges on my front teeth. I think it is the best on the market. I've tried dozens of brands, including similar products from Revlon, L'Oreal, Lipsense, etc. They claim to be last for 12-24 hours, but they don't. This product lasts even through dinner out with friends. And it comes in so many nice colors, too! I love it and will continue to buy it.
