Good replacement blades
My shaver after over a year of use needed new blades. I found these on Amazon. I replaced the old set. These work well, nice shave.

Simple to change
Purchased these to replace the cutting heads in my Phillips shaver. These are OEM replacement heads. The fit perfectly.Easy to change. Open the shaver cover. Push out the three cutters and set in the new cutters. Simpler than cleaning the shaver. This shaver I keep in RV and use while camping.I would recommend these shaver cutters.

Take it all off
After a few days break-in period for the blades to work in the combing heads, the shave is close and comfortable.

Not sure what happened, but... FAIL
A few weeks back I "Cheaped out" and purchased the aftermarket blades for my razor, with predictable results. So... I sent them back and purchased the OEM / Factory Blades.WOW, was I in for a (BAD) surprise! The blades I received looked EXACTLY like the aftermarket blades, (NOTE: My OEM blades have a purple spindle, these have a black one), and they did not perform very well. NOT a close shave at ALL!But I opted to try them for at least a week...Today, we went in to shave, and the blades simply "Locked up", and would not turn.I can only assume one of the blade-ends was getting stuck in the protective guard?I can open the lid and the motor spindles turn freely, so nothing else is affected.I took the blades out, cleaned everything, and tried again. It worked for 1.5 minutes and locked up again.I pulled them out and sent them back to Amazon for a refund.I have neither the time nor the patience to deal with cheap garbage products.NOTE: I kept my OEM blades, so I reinstalled them in my razor. It is working fine, but still gives a dull-blade shave.Do yourself a favor... If this is where Norelco has landed, just don't bother.Go ahead and purchase a new razor elsewhere. The replacement blades simply aren't what they used to be.

Make sure it comes in original packaging!
I really love my Philips Norelco series 5000 shaver! I have had it for a few years. I ordered these replacement blades and the first time they just came in a small bag and appeared to be non-genuine Philips replacement heads. I kept them anyway and they pulled on my hairs when they would cut. It was not pleasant like the original blades that came with the device.I ordered a second time just a few weeks ago and got a way better experience. They came in an official package and the blades were factory sealed in plastic. All the pics included in this review are of this latest purchase. They feel amazing! Super nice shave like the ones that came with my shaver. The heads are very easy to replace, just unsnap the plastic retainer clip , remove old blade, place new blade and put the clip back on. Repeat two more times.Highly recommended! Just make sure you get the genuine packaging!
