This is my 2nd Photospring device and it's perfect. The thing that separates this device from others is it lets you share your photos with family and friends. So my grandparents can just put this somewhere and photos of all their kids and grandchildren will stream for them. I can control what pictures others see. For example, my friends will see different pictures than my grandparents will. Friends will see me on a night out at a bar but my grandparents only see pictures of my kids and other wholesome things.Construction is sturdy. It's easy to use and, most important of all, I can just set it up for my parents and they don't have to do anything but remember to either keep it plugged in or charge it when it runs out of battery. They love it and I don't have to constantly email them photos of the kids, etc. Great digital photo frame!

It Died In 2 Months. Warranty is for ONE MONTH. LOL.

The screen inside the frame is very clearly crooked. I don’t want to waste the time returning it because the recipient wanted to get it set up and start using it. It is very easy to set up and add pictures using the free PhotoSpring app. The pictures can cycle between 20-40 seconds or you can keep it frozen on one. Video sound can be muted. The frame can be set to turn on and off automatically based on a schedule. The battery doesn’t last long (couple of hours) when not plugged in so you’ll need to put it somewhere it can stay plugged in. Needs a good wireless signal to work. Other than the uneven screen, it’s a good frame.

This frame was purchased as a mother’s day gift for my mother who is not very tech-savvy. She loves it. It’s easy to use, and did not take long to set up. I had seen an ad for the skylight frame and was considering purchasing that one, but I’m thrilled that we went with the PhotoSpring instead! Getting to send both pictures and videos is great, and the app through which pictures and videos are sent is very easy to use. I love that even if the upload is slow I can use other apps and it won’t disturb the process. This frame is on the pricier end but it’s worth every penny, and was less than the skylight which (from what I understood) can only receive photos.

My wife is in a nursing home suffering from Frontal Temporal Dementia (FTD). I was looking for a Digital Photo Frame so I could give it to her to have a slide show of our family to stimulate her memory and give her some enjoying memories. I wanted one that was battery powered. This one is battery powered with rechargeable batteries. I also wanted one that used a SD chip to put the pictures in it. This one uses the internet. That is a no-go. My wife's condition will not allow her to use it.As a result, I need to return this one and shop more.I am sure this one will work well for someone who is able to handle the internet. My wife cannot in her present condition. I need one that I can insert a SD disk and have her aid press a single button to start the show. It needs to be battery powered so she can take it with her as she is pushed down the hall in her wheel chair.Thanks for asking,Michael Coats

Excellent customer service, easy to use frame in terms of uploading photos. Holds tons of photos- more than it seems one person could ever need!Cons: 1) you must back up all photos to your own personal photo storage account (like Drop Box). There is no drive or SIM card in this frame to access photo if frame stops working. (I’ve bought 5 frames, and one stopped working within a month.)The company gladly, and quickly replaced the broken frame for free.2) Off/on button is cheap and difficult to work (must hold for up to 7 seconds to turn on- which sometimes needs to be done multiple times).3) the touchscreen is helpful, however, you cannot click and drag photos to arrange them.4) putting photos in an order of your choice is a logistical nightmare (your options are RANDOM; Newest to oldest; or oldest to newest). Not great if you’re putting together a slideshow where you want to insert different photos in different places as you find them. I wanted a chronological slideshow of my dad’s life from multiple sources. I’d continue finding pictures of all different eras of life that I’d want to insert somewhere in the MIDDLE OF the slide show- not the beginning or end.It turns out you have to label each photo so that they all are in the alphabetical order you want. New photos must be labeled accordingly, which means searching all your current photos to see where it would fit. Think labeling books at a library using the Dewey Decimal System.It’s a logistical night mare.5) they no longer make the larger screen frame, which feels more solidly built than the 8 inch ones.But, everyone LOVES their frame ❤️. They bring great joy.

I purchased this frame for my parents. They have children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren! This is AWESOME because any of them can connect to the frame via their smartphone app, or on their computer, and upload photos at ANY TIME! It's all uploaded to the frame via wi-fi, so the recipient needs to have access to that.My frame had a slight glitch, but when contacted their support team was able to help me with this. Everything seems to be working fine at the moment, and my parents absolutely LOVE the frame!!!This is an EXCELLENT product that is perfect for giving to someone who is hard to buy for...you know, that person who has everything? Yeah! Them! You can't go wrong!!!

This photo frame is amazing. I’ve had it for a few months now, it’s so easy And relatively quick to send photos to the frame. It goes perfectly with our aesthetic. It automatically ignores duplicate photos when you try to upload a picture you have already uploaded. You can sort the order of pictures or shuffle them. You can group the photos into playlists for guests (we grouped our wedding photos, engagement shoot, and family photos into playlists). You can customize the amount of time the slide show should be on each photo. You can even add videos to the frame. I can only identify one flaw— I wish you could hand select the order of the photos. But, there is a workaround you can simply upload it in the order you want it to display.

When it was working, it was amazing. But then it stopped working and it's been nothing but a hassle to get it looked into and hopefully replaced. I'm glad I bought the extended warranty, but since it crapped out only a couple of months after using it, it doesn't help me. Amazon has been much more helpful at least, so that helps.
