Big Game CR5055 The Univ Unbrella

A bit cumbersome to setup, but it’s very well designed and performs great. Used it all day in a steady rain and stayed dry. Holds up to winds. It’s very large and the “drip edge” surrounding it prevents rain from running underneath, and the rain guard that attaches it to the tree prevents water from running down your back. Leaps and bounds better than all the other umbrellas I’ve used.

People complaining about “holes” in the fabric don’t know what they’re looking at/talking about. This is an amazing product. Held up to 2” of solid ice.It comes with a harness to attach the front corners to your tree stand to prevent blowing, I ended up buying a pair of adjustable snaps hooked to Para cord to really dial in tension on the front hooks. I would absolutely trust this sucker out all season long. Going to buy several more for next year. .

This is an essential item if you intend to sit on tree stand for prolonged time, it’s a little noisy to open and set up, but I think this can be managed with repeated use.I suggest setting it up on the ground prior to going out on your hunt. Otherwise so far so good

After searching for a bit for a tree stand umbrella that would keep a 2 man stand dry I started to wondered if any of them would hold up in the wind. I went out on a limb and ordered this one because it looked like out of all my choices it wouldn't blow away. Installation in the tree took longer than expected with all the straps,This does a great job of keeping you dry and umbrella wraps around the tree to gutter water away so no water running down your back.Now for the wind concern. We have had several strong storms in the past month with lots of wind and the umbrella hasn't moved or blown away. So as long as a limb doesn't fall out of the tree, i believe this will work for several years to come.

Gets the job done, keeps you dry. I wrapped it up in some camouflage mesh and she’s ready to roll. I would suggest they make the straps that go around the trees longer for the bigger trees because I did have to improvise there, but other than that she worked out good!

Easy to put up. Made it during a storm with 45 mph wind so very durable and keeps me dry during the rain great product for the money and also helps block the sun out of your eyes. Reccomend it to any hunter!

It flopped around too much and the stabilizing straps were obstructive so I got rid of all straps and modified the way it is attached to the tree with three old tent poles that I attached to the eyebolt on the top of the umbrella to form a tripod that is attached to the tree. The flap that normally wraps the tree and connects to the support strap is now wrapped around the tree below the umbrella providing a dry spot to lean against. The cool thing is it's more stable now and it still fits in it's carry bag.
